Set in beautiful Canadian landscapes, Locke and Key is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for those magical, back-to-school vibes. It follows the adventures of the Lockes, who move to the wondrous Keyhouse, which is located in the fictional town of Matheson, Massachusetts. Viewers watch as they discover the mysterious hidden keys and their purpose.
Much of the Series takes place in a fallen-leaf or snowy landscape, adding to the cozy and magical mood and many memorable moments as the Lockes get used to their new eye-popping home and grand school among their new responsibilities as Keepers of the Keys.

Although First Kill got canceled after one series by Netflix, it's arguably still worth a watch, particularly for those who love a vampire show. It puts a fantasy twist on the classic star-crossed lovers' scenario, following the two conflicting paths and romance between the female protagonists Juliette and Calliope, a vampire and vampire hunter.
Viewers get to see the complex lives of Juliette and Calliope in and beyond school, as both characters struggle to find their place within their ancestry, and the show has a great, atmospheric soundtrack.
4 Fate: The Winx Saga
Season 2 of the magical, school-based series Fate: The Winx Saga is soon to be released by Netflix on September 16th, 2022, and continues Bloom's story as a fire fairy. It's a great show to get into for those who love to watch the Harry Potter movies during Fall for the magical school and forest settings and those eagerly pining for the release of Hogwart's Legacy.
In Season 1, each fairy has a different kind of elemental magic ability, and the villains include the sinister and monstrous Burned Ones.
3 The Vampire Diaries
Those looking for their vampire fix this Fall and Halloween may need to look no further than The Vampire Diaries. Although it ended in 2017, the supernatural series is a good go-to for mysterious Fall and vampire vibes, following Elena and her friends' stories after Elena's first memorable encounters with the Salvatore brothers in season 1.
The show is not just about vampires, though. It's got witches, wolves, and more in an intricate, escapist fantasy filled with romance, action, and drama and explores the topic of the traditional vampire story and the forbidden.
2 The Sandman
For viewers after moody and brooding rather than pumpkin-spice and magical schools, The Sandman is perfect for those gray, darker days of Fall as the realities between awake and dreaming are blurred in Netflix's series that explores the duties of Morpheus, The King of Dreams.

Amazon's Rings of Power is the ultimate fantasy escape to watch during fall as viewers are transported to the magical world of Tolkein's Middle-Earth and beyond. The scenery is stunning, especially the yellow trees of Lindon, the Capital of the High Elves, and the beautiful, giant trees of Valinor.
In the first few episodes, viewers are introduced to many characters, including a young Galadriel and the wild Harfoots and the Brandyfoots. Many of the Harfoots wear rustic, nature-themed adornments in their hair as part of a lively culture that seems reminiscent of the bountiful joys of a Fall harvest celebration, despite their need to keep moving to survive.
