A very talented Fallout 4 fan creates a custom Lego figure based on one of the game's shelter dwellers equipped with a Pip-Boy, a blue jumpsuit, and a few weapons.

Fallout 4 fans are enthusiastic enough about the game's apocalyptic universe that Bethesda is able to license and sell just about any tie-in product it wants (including Fallout-themed footwear). Although the company hasn't gotten around to partnering up with Lego to make some figures yet, one super-fan has already custom-made an incredibly detailed mini-version of a fallout shelter dweller from the upcoming game.

The talented fan, DSCustoms, built the figure from scratch, starting with Green Stuff molding material. The detail to attention is incredibly impressive and the creator seems to have nailed every aspect from the iconic Pip-Boy to the trademark blue and yellow jumpsuit. Of course, the character wouldn't be ready to explore the new world order without a few weapons, as well. The creator equipped the figure with a handgun and a shotgun to get its adventure started.

As readers might expect, the main problem with a custom made, unlicensed figure is that fans of the franchise are unable to actually purchase it. There are no plans for a Fallout 4 Lego set at this point, but we can all keep our fingers crossed that if there ever is one, it is as awesome as what DSCustoms put together.

For gamers who are looking to drop some cash on Fallout 4 merch, luckily there is plenty of other loot to hunt down. Most recently, Bethesda teamed up with Carlsberg UK to release a Fallout 4 beer. Some fans of the franchise may be too young to indulge in that particular piece of piece in merchandise, but there are also art books, special edition Pip-Boys, socks, and custom console controllers to hunt down. Some of the items have already sold out, but there's no doubt that some die-hard fans will be overpaying for them on eBay shortly after the game's launch.

With the release of Fallout 4 just a few weeks away, hype for the game is at an all-time high. Bethesda has certainly nailed the marketing component of this launch, so we are looking forward to finding out if the game itself is as good as everyone hopes. Check back closer to launch for more details and day one updates.
