Genshin Impact is constantly adding new characters to its playable roster with Kamisato Ayato being to most recent one to arrive. Even though the lineup keeps getting stronger with each update, many fans have not forgotten the first characters that they've started their journey with.

The game's unique anime-inspired art style often inspires players to try replicating its characters and implement them in another titles such as Pokémon. An interesting fan-made concept posted on the official Genshin Impact subreddit manages to combine the two games in one art piece.

Reddit user aug16th has shared his art featuring the Genshin Impact's two main characters, Lumine and Aether, surrounded with two Eevee, Plusle and Minun. Fans seemed to love the whole concept, and it managed to acquire almost 3k upvotes. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that they appreciate the artist for putting both of the main characters in the art considering that most of the official artwork features either Aether or Lumine but rarely both of them.

Fans claim that while Eevee is the perfect choice for the main characters, putting Plusle and Minun near a pool could be dangerous since they are Electric-type Pokémon. However, some fans stated that they could be representing the two Genshin Impact brothers, Diluc and Keaya, who share a similar color pallet. A big part of the community still hopes for a collaboration between the two games in the future which would result in cute Pokémon as pet rewards.

At the start of their Genshin Impact journey, the game requires the players to choose between Aether or Lumine to be their main character. Once they've made their decision, players are sent to the game's first region named Mondstadt where they can start their adventure with the main goal of finding the lost sibling. The in-game characters that are part of the Genshin Impact's stories refer to the main character as the Traveler.

However, despite being the main characters, Aether and Lumine rarely remain in the main team composition for most Genshin Impact players. This probably due to the fact that the game keeps introducing stronger characters with each new update. The unique part of the Traveler's kit is that he can be equipped with different elements based on the signature element of main nations that have been released. Recent Genshin Impact leaks have been hinting that a new major region named Sumeru is just around the corner. This likely means that the Traveler will have the ability of control the Dendro element.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
