The family that cosplays together stays together. At least, that certainly seems like it'll be the case with this wonderfully supportive dad and his 2 kids who all seem to share a certain affinity for the Disney+ series Loki. Granted, they could all actually be real Loki variants masquerading as a loving family, but considering how much trouble the main Loki had had in showing the slightest bit of genuine affection, maybe that would be too much to ask. Sorry, too soon?

In a move that will likely make plenty of other less nerdy families a bit confused (bless their hearts), a proud and resourceful father decided to fulfill his kids' wishes to attend Comic-Con in costume as Loki. In fact, he fulfilled those wishes with so much gusto that they ended up with not 1, but 4 Lokis. It may not seem possible to take 3 people and turn them into 4 characters, but gosh darn it, he found a way.

Reddit user D_Rek9160 apparently thought that pre-made costumes (and pronounceable usernames) just weren't good enough for him and his family, so he started from scratch to create outfits based on 3 of the variants seen in Loki. For the young gentleman, a snazzy suit with a pin and some horns was all it took to bring President Loki to life. As for his daughter, D_Rek9160 actually had to put together a full chest plate himself along with the rest of the materials needed to turn her into an impressive take on Sylvie.

The dad himself, on the other hand, decided to go in a bit of a different direction. In fact, many might not even know who he's supposed to be. But a twinge of slight recognition should indicate that he's definitely someone from the show, and a quick scan through the hideout scene will prove that theory correct. Donning a jumpsuit and an impressive set of bike handles in place of the expected horned helmet, he transformed into one of President Loki's more interesting-looking lackeys.

But what about the aforementioned 4th Loki variant? Well, that would be the ever adorable Alligator Loki, played in this performance by the illustrious actor known as a tiny toy with horns. It all comes together beautifully to create a heartwarming tableau of family bonding that outshines the disturbing lack of masks among the other Comic-Con attendees. But on an even more wholesome note, D_Rek9160 mentioned in the comments that he even gave his son some custom-made "Vote Loki" cards to hand out to other patrons of the convention, likely brightening a few days along the way.

This is just one more example of how cosplay can bring people together. It's a remarkably robust subculture, allowing people to put as much or as little into it as they want while still receiving plenty of satisfaction and enjoyment at any level. Here's hoping they storm the halls of many events to come.
