As someone who enjoys earning achievements and trophies, this list means I will be spending alot of time with New Vegas. I think achievements in this type of open world game are great for giving you some incentive to complete the side quests you normally wouldn't bother with and makes you try some interesting things. I don't think I used a melee weapon in Fallout 3 more than once, but I will try to earn the 'New Vegas Samurai' achievement in this game and may discover a new play style I enjoy.

So Ranters, with the recent announcement of some famous voice talent and now this achievement list, has anyone's interest level in this game gone up? Personally this is one of my most anticipated games this year and I just hope Obsidian is up to the task.

Fallout: New Vegas, developed by Obsidian Entertainment, is set for release on October 19th on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms.
