A guy, a girl and a ghoul walk out into the Wasteland... and this isn't the start of a joke, but rather the basic plot of an amazing Fallout inspired webseries. If you loved Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas and are awaiting the next batches of DLC to head back into the post-apocalyptic future, then Fallout: Nuka Break the series is for you and anyone else who simply likes an entertaining online viewing experience.

Fallout: Nuka Break is about "one man's quest to find happiness," joined by his two friends, Scarlett, a sexy former slave turned bad-ass and Ben, a ghoul who represents the comedy relief of the show. Check it out below.

Fallout: Nuka Break is a non-profit show created by the indie Wayside Creations, who clearly house a team of hardcore Fallout fans, as evident by the designs and references made in the episode. It's a short fan-film that will hopefully (and deservedly) should start an ongoing series.

Twig, a once Vault inhabitant from his attire, is played by Zack Finfrock and he's joined by Aaron Giles, the lovable ghoul, and Tybee Diskin as the laser rifle wielder. This short was directed by Vincent Talenti, written by Brian Clevinger off a story by star Zack Finfrock.

If anything, Fallout: Nuka Break is another piece of evidence of how video games can be adapted into entertaining films (see: Portal: No Escape for another example) if the right creative minds and motivation is behind it. It also goes to show how much fun playing Fallout: New Vegas would be if you could do it cooperatively with friends.

Episode 2 debuts in two weeks so stay tuned as we'll be sure to post it then.
