Players have been emerging from Fallout 4's Vault 111 immeasurable times since the Bethesda Softworks game was released back in 2015, and it quickly became one of the most memorable Vault numbers in the franchise. One Fallout 4 fan has decided to create a fully functional Vault 111 out of LEGO and Bionicle, complete with the surrounding dirt mound.

Reddit user MasterBuilderKTC recently shared several images of their working Vault 111 alongside a video showing the vault opening as it does in the beginning moments of Fallout 4. While the images highlight the Vault-Tec invention from multiple angles and give more details, the video shows how the LEGO vault door falls back before sliding to the side for viewers to look into the Vault. The attention to detail on the Vault goes beyond simply replicating the function and color scheme, as there's also an LED inside to mimic the flashing lights that activate when a Fallout player escapes the Vault.

Like other Fallout Vaults, Vault 111 is surrounded by earth and the LEGO dirt mound of MasterBuilderKTC's Fallout 4 creation composes most of the exterior, with some brown boards crossing the middle of the structure above the Vault door. The large door that is the primary feature of MasterBuilderKTC's LEGO replica is fittingly a mix of gray and yellow and its corresponding number is imprinted in the central wheel that opens when active. Just as there is in Fallout 4, the vault also has a short ramp leading to the entrance which allows the formerly frozen inhabitants to access the outside world once the door is eventually open.

MasterBuilderKTC's Fallout 4 video starts off with the LEGO Vault 111 door closed as it slowly opens to the noise of a LEGO motor which brings it to life as it moves in multiple directions. Going above and beyond, MasterBuilderKTC's LEGO creation also features the familiar sound effect that plays in Fallout games when a Vault is opened, adding to the immersion of the LEGO monument. While there's an LED just inside the door which illuminates the inside of the Vault with red, MasterBuilderKTC's clip ends with the door swinging shut without any light seeping through the cracks.

Although these Vaults are typically inhabited by named and unnamed NPCs in Fallout titles, MasterBuilderKTC's LEGO creation is currently void of LEGO minifigures. Because there are ways to customize these better than going off basic LEGO sets, MasterBuilderKTC's next project may be to create Vault-inspired minifigures to represent the unforgettable Fallout 4 location even better. Some other Fallout 4 fans have noted their interest in purchasing a LEGO build similar to MasterBuilderKTC's, but it's currently unclear if the LEGO enthusiast will make backups for others.

Fallout 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
