Without a doubt, one of the most beloved video game franchises of all time is the post-apocalyptic RPG series, Fallout, as there are plenty of fans the world over who are intimately familiar with the titles' gameplay, lore, and annihilated environments. One fan, however, is so well-acquainted with each of the titles in the franchise that they decided to speedrun through all of the entries in the irradiated Fallout Anthology, in addition to the most recently released game in the series that's not included in the compendium, Fallout 4.

As seen below in the YouTuber tomatoanus' video, the speedrunner manages to complete all of the aforementioned games in an incredibly fast time of 1 hour, 37 minutes, and 54 seconds, which would likely take months, if not years of playtime for those who are simply playing through the titles without the intention of beating them as rapidly as possible. This run in particular, though, sees the player taking on each game consecutively from Interplay Entertainment's Fallout to Bethesda's Fallout 4 with no breaks, earning them the number one spot in the Fallout Anthology speedrun.com leaderboard.

For those unaware, there have certainly been numerous other fans who have taken on the individual Fallout titles to beat them as quickly as they could, but tomatoanus is the first to blaze through each of them from beginning to end without stopping. For instance, the YouTuber and devoted Fallout 3 player known as Rydou managed to beat the third entry in the post-apocalyptic RPG franchise in a world record speedrun of 14 minutes and 54 seconds.

Taking all of this into account, with tomatoanus having used a plethora of glitches to make his way through the Fallout games as fast as possible, there's the chance that another ardent fan of the series could best the current leaderboard time with enough persistence to learn the shortcuts. Even so, it's a safe bet to make that there won't be a lot of folks who step up to the challenge, as many consider speedrunning to be a tedious and demanding practice with little reward.

Fallout Anthology is available now for PC.
