Microsoft has unveiled many surprises at Inside Xbox Live at gamescom 2018 today, which is currently taking place at Cologne in Germany. In addition to revealing a brand new Battlefield V Gold Rush Special Edition Xbox One X, Microsoft has also revealed that it will be releasing a special Fallout 76 Xbox One X bundle in celebration of the release of next game in the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic RPG series.

The Fallout 76 Xbox One X bundle will include an Xbox One X 1 TB Edition, Fallout 76, one Wireless controller, a one month subscription to Xbox Game Pass, and one month of Xbox Live Gold in order to play the the fully online game without having to buy a subscription for the first month. Furthermore, the bundle is priced at $500, and it became available for pre-order shortly after Microsoft's gamescom 2018 presentation today. The bundle will be released at the same time that the game is being released in November.

Since Fallout 76 will be Xbox One X enhanced, this bundle presents a good opportunity to pick up an Xbox One X in order to experience the game in its full 4k capacity for those do not own the console already. In addition to revealing this Fallout 76 bundle, Microsoft has also showed off a brand new trailer at its presentation today. The trailer explains in more detail what fans can expect from the crafting features of the game, and Bethesda's VP of marketing, Pete Hines, explained how player-built bases will be able to operate in a post-apocalyptic (yet still nuclear) setting.

Unfortunately, the Fallout 76 Xbox One X is not as impressive as the Battlefield V Xbox One X that has subtle gold on the one half of the console, but for Fallout fans that are looking to upgrade to 4k, it is definitely a good deal nonetheless. From promotional material released of the game thus far, this Fallout promises to be a worthy successor to the best-selling Fallout 4.

Fallout 76 is set to release on November 14, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
