Workshops are valuable locations in Fallout 76 that allow players to expand their control and gather valuable resources. These are fixed locations that when controlled can generate a variety of resources using extractors that need to be collected periodically.

For players interested in claiming these Workshops for themselves it’s important to know where they’re located and what resource is being generated.

22 Billings Homestead

In the Forest region against the river on the western edge of the map is the Billings Homestead workshop. It’s a two-story gray farmhouse with 40 razorgrain plants to the south of the house.

The notable resources produced here are Crystal, Gold, and Copper. It will also generate Fertilizer, Food, and Water.

21 Gorge Junkyard

Gorge Junkyard is next to Interstate 59 slightly north west of Morgantown in the Forest region. It’s a junkyard with abandoned cars and storage containers.

The Junkyard is highly prized by players as it’s the only place that produces Black Titanium. In addition to Black Titanium it produces Wood, Junk, Concrete, Water, and Food.

20 Lakeside Cabins

Lakeside Cabins is a series of three cabins and a trailer on the northwest side of Summersville Lake in the Forest region. Many players loot the cabins for Board Games that contain Nuclear Material.

As a workshop it produces the valuable resources Crystal, Lead, and Silver. It will also generate Wood, Food, and Water.

19 Poseidon Energy Plant Yard

This workshop is located in the Forest region northwest of Charleston across the river at the end of the train tracks. It’s a large nuclear power plant which is part of the Powering Up Poseidon quest.

The Plant is highly sought after by beginners because it produces Fusion Cores. It will also produce Food, Water, Aluminum, Concrete, Lead, and Nuclear Waste.

18 Sunshine Meadows Industrial Farm

This workshop is a series of greenhouses and a factory locates southeast of Mothman near the Poseidon Power Substation PX-01 in the Forest region. This Substation is incredibly useful for generating power for the Farm when repaired.

The Farm is the only site that produces Packaged Food and has a faster production rate for Fertilizer. It also generates Food, Water, Aluminum, Concrete, and Junk.

17 Tyler County Dirt Track

In the Forest region near the Tyler County Fairgrounds is the Tyler County Dirt Track. It’s unsurprisingly a large dirt track with abandoned cars.

This workshop is great for producing Silver. It will also generate Food, Water, Aluminum, Fertilizer, Junk, and Steel.

16 Wade Airport

Wade Airport is just off of Interstate 59 northwest of the Charleston Capitol Building in the Forest region. It’s overrun by Super Mutants and has two sets of Power Armor.

This workshop is notable for producing Oil, Silver, and Copper. It will also produce Food, Water, and Steel.

15 Grafton Steel Yard

Located in the Toxic Valley region near the Pioneer Scout Camp and southwest of the Palace of the Winding Path. It a series of large factories connected by sky bridges.

Players like this workshop because it produces Oil, Copper, and Lead. Once up and running it will also generate Food, Water, and quite a bit of Steel.

14 Hemlock Holes Maintenance

Located next to Wavy Willard’s Water Park in the Toxic Valley region, Hemlock Holes Maintenance where a golf course used to be.

This workshop will generate Acid, Gold, and Crystal as notable resources. It also produces the typical Water and Food.

13 Beckley Mine Exhibit

This exhibit is in the Ash Heap west of Mount Blair. It’s surrounded by chainlink and located next to an abandoned mine.

This is a great place for Oil production as there are two extractors next to each other. It’s also a good source of Gold, Crystal, Water, and Food.

12 Charleston Landfill

This is an easy to find Workshop on the western outskirts of Charleston in the Ash Heap region.

This is an ideal spot for Junk production thanks to the three spots for extractor placement. It will also generate Food, Water, Aluminum, Copper, and Steel.

11 Mount Blair

In the core of the Ash Heap region is Mount Blair, a massive bucket-wheel excavator that’s hard to miss among the abandoned mines.

This workshop is nice because it’ll produce a variety of ore types at random. It also generates Food and Water.

10 Converted Munitions Factory

This ammo factory is located in the Savage Divide northwest of the Red Rocket Mega Stop next to the Beaily Family Cabin.

This workshop is highly desired as it’s the only workshop that produces ammunition. This factory also produces Food, Water, Aluminum, Junk, Lead, Oil, and Silver.

9 Federal Disposal Field HZ-21

The Disposal Field is west of Vault 96 near the mountains of the Savage Divide. It’s easily recognizable thanks to the jagged concrete spikes that surround it.

Players will want this Workshop for it’s large Nuclear Material production. It’s also desired for it’s Oil, Acid, Water, and Food generation.

8 Monongah Power Plant Yard

The Power Plant is located on the edge of the Savage Divide east of Bolton Greens in the pass leading to the Divide.

Midgame players really like this workshop for its high Fusion Core production. It will also generate Water and Food.

7 Red Rocket Mega Shop

This massive rest stop is on Route 59 in the Savage Divide on the east side of the map. The large red rocket tower makes it easy to spot.

This workshop is a great source of Nuclear Material and Aluminum. It will also spit out Steel, Junk, Food, and Water.

6 Spruce Knob

The Spruce Knob is easy to spot thanks to the large tower and connected monorail. It’s located by Spruce Knob Lack and is southwest of Huntersville in the Savage Divide.

It’s the best source for Gold and is valuable for both Copper and Acid production. It will also generate Food and Water.

5 Berkeley Springs West

Located in the Savage Divide uphill from the town of Berkeley Springs is the workshop. It’s near the bookstore by the hotel.

This workshop is know for producing Crystal, Lead, and Aluminum. It doesn’t produce a lot of Food, but it produces a lot of Water instead.

4 Dabney Homestead

It’s a small house sunk into the Mire region with a barn and silo nearby. The Homestead is east of Camp Venture near the Valley Galleria.

This workshop produces Fertilizer, Junk Copper and Concrete. Along with Food, Water, and Wood.

3 Dolly Sods Campground

This is large campground in The Mire region east of Mosstown near the river.

This is the least desired workshop in the game as it only produces Food and Water.
