This crafty fan constructs an incredibly detailed and realistic replica of Fallout 4's Pipe Bolt Action Pistol in just over twelve hours for a "One Day Build" challenge.

If Fallout 4 players are known for one thing, it's their creativity. The community has developed amazing mods, pushed the settlement building tool to its limits, and explored the game in ways that even the developers couldn't have predicted. That creative spirit carries on outside of the game as some players take on real life projects in their own workshop that are inspired by Fallout 4's setting.

The game's unique post-apocalyptic weapons have been a part of the Fallout tradition for years. The game allows for heavy modification of each gun in the game and some players are so skilled that they have started recreating replica props of the arsenal outside of the game. One hardcore fan at Sorenzo Props created a real pipe bolt action pistol replica in less than a day's time for a special "One Day Build" project.

Clearly the crafter is incredibly skilled and we would be impressed with this prop if it took months to build, let alone just over 12 hours to complete. Here's a look at some of the details that the creator nailed during the speedy build...

Between fan-made props and replicas and the plethora of official merchandise for Fallout 4, it seems like there are plenty of ways to keep the wasteland around long after gamers set down the controller. The pipe pistol replica does an amazing job of capturing the look and feel of the Fallout world and bringing it off of the screen and into reality (minus any radiation poisoning).

As these kinds of collector's items continue to pile up, we're very much looking forward to seeing a super fan gather as much loot as possible into a real life settlement. Between vats of Nuka Cola, shelves of bobbleheads, and replica weapons; there is more than enough Fallout memorabilia to keep collector's busy.

Now that 2015 has come to a close, the gaming community will get to decide how much of an impact Fallout 4 has really had. Will modders continue tweaking the game for years to come? Will streamers continue playing it for months after new open-world RPGs are released and offer new worlds to explore? It seems like the game's uncapped leveling system and massive world offer a limitless experience and we don't expect the game to step out of the spotlight any time soon. And just remember, there's still a season's pass worth of DLC on the way...

What do you think of the replica pipe pistol? What other weapons from the game do you think would make cool props? Let us know in the comments.

Fallout 4 is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
