Developer Bethesda Softworks officially announces that gameplay footage for Fallout 4's next expansion Nuka World will be on display in a livestream this week.

As many Fallout 4 fans are surely aware, the release date for the post-apocalyptic RPG's next expansion known as Nuka World is just around the corner, as it drops for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at the end of this month. With that being the case, now that Bethesda has already released a patch for all of the platforms under Update 1.7 to support the open world title's forthcoming DLC, the studio has decided to give fans a closer look at the add-on's gameplay with a livestream on Twitch tomorrow.

As seen in the tweet below, Bethesda has revealed that the coverage is set to begin on August 23 at 4:00 PM ET, and fans can tune in to the show on the studio's official Twitch channel right here. While the developer didn't mention exactly what would-be Wastelanders should expect out of the livestream, it's safe to presume that there will be ample commentary on Fallout 4's soon-to-be-released DLC and in-depth looks at Nuka World's various areas such as Nuka-Town, USA, Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and Galactic Zone.

Furthermore, Fallout 4 fans ought to anticipate more substantial gameplay in the way of story, characters, gear, weapons, and enemies to be sussed out during the show than that which was shown in Nuka World's official trailer. Of course, it's quite possible that Bethesda could also use the livestream as a means to announce additional surprises related to and beyond the forthcoming expansion, especially since the studio has made it clear that Nuka World is the last DLC for Fallout 4.

Those who wish to get a better idea as to how the environment for the game's amusement park themed DLC will be set up before tomorrow's livestream can do so by taking a gander at Nuka World's layout thanks to Bethesda's creation of a digital map of the landscape. Interestingly enough, the developer has promised a physical version of the map to players in North America and Canada who visit their local Gamestop and EB Games beginning on August 24. Naturally, supplies are limited, so should they run out, there's always the aforementioned PDF version on which to rely.

While all seems to be going according to plan when it comes to the launch of Fallout 4's Nuka World DLC, the same cannot be said about the title's mod support for PlayStation 4. As it happens, Bethesda just recently declared that there is still no release date for the feature, causing many to exercise extreme patience when it comes to its availability. Hopefully, though, the studio will be able to finally roll out mod support on the Sony console just in time for Nuka World's launch on August 30.

Will you be tuning in to Bethesda's live Twitch stream for Fallout 4's Nuka World gameplay reveal tomorrow? If so, what do you hope the developer will focus on the most during the show? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
