Some of the toughest enemies of the wasteland go to war with each other in the latest Fallout 4 Battle, this time pitting 30,000 Deathclaws against 300 Super Mutants.
One of the joys of playing Fallout 4 on the PC is that gamers can cause a wide variety of bizarre scenarios that wouldn’t happen under normal circumstances. In the latest of the Fallout 4 battles, one gamer has used his PC’s processing power and console commands to pose 30,000 Glowing Deathclaws against 300 Super Mutants in a fight to the death.
Encountering a single Deathclaw or a small group of Super Mutants in Fallout 4 is usually enough to make most gamers anxious, but watching an army of both fight each other is simultaneously epic and hilarious. Though the super mutants have a much smaller group to work with, they’ve proven that they can take on much larger groups of enemies before, like in the 10,000 Glowing Ghouls versus 100 Super Mutants battle. The Deathclaw vs Super Mutant carnage can be seen in the video below.
Admittedly, the Super Mutants have a bit of an advantage in the form of weaponry. YouTuber Cosmic Contrarian has chosen a good variety of Super Mutants – some are only equipped with melee clubs, though a large amount of them have shotguns and miniguns at their disposal. Considering that the Deathclaws can only attack up close, this means that the Super Mutants have a good opportunity to get some serious damage in before the Deathclaws even get close enough to touch them. And while it means an instant sacrifice to the number of Super Mutants, the team of suicide Super Mutants deal massive amounts of damage to large groups of Deathclaws.
Cosmic Contrarian does a great job of setting the scene for the fight before it starts, but it’s clear that their computer struggles under the load. However, considering that some gamers have needed mods to simplify textures so they can play Fallout 4, Cosmic’s computer must be quite a powerhouse. Of course, gamers who have more powerful computers and aren’t interested in spawning ten of thousands of enemies also have modding choices, like the mod that improves all Fallout 4 landscape textures, making the game a more visually detailed expanse.
These Fallout 4 versus fights are a ton of fun to watch, especially since Fallout 4 players know first-hand how tough these enemies can be. This is far from the first Fallout 4 creature battle that has blown us away, which has included 30,000 Deathclaw versus 300 Brotherhood of Steel, and 1,000 Deathclaws versus 100 Brotherhood of Steel.
