One ambitious Redditor releases a desktop checklist app for Fallout 4 that can help players to keep track of their quests and find hidden loot throughout the game.

Fallout 4 features an extremely expansive world, which can make it difficult for gamers to discover every single thing that's hiding in the Boston Commonwealth. For gamers who are still hunting for collectibles, there's one gamer that's been hard at work on since the game premiered in order to make the task a little easier.

Redditor Krylosac announced the Fallout 4 checklist app today, which can be used alongside the game on a computer. The app is comprised of several parts, which include a quest tracker for gamers to figure out how far along they are on certain quests, as well as a massive map containing the location of loot throughout the Commonwealth. The map can be scanned through similarly to Google Maps, allowing gamers to track down every collectible item hidden in any region of the wasteland. The collectibles are divided up into categories to make it easier to keep track of everything, including separate categories for bobbleheads, magazines, armor, and so on.

While some gamers may not want a helping hand telling them exactly where to find everything, they may still find this app useful. While the app does indicate what each area contains, the regions are still fairly large, and the items aren't individually marked in their precise locations on the map. The app does offer further descriptions about where each item can specifically be found within the region, but it's hidden under a collapsible menu so gamers can choose how much help they want or need to find items.

Other gamers have previously helped to shed some light on hidden items, areas, and secrets in Fallout 4. YouTuber "The LAWD" has released many videos detailing secret locations within Fallout 4, and YouTuber FluffyNinjaLlama detailed a Fallout 4 easter egg most players had overlooked. Even so, the director of the game recently pointed out that there's still at least one secret left in Fallout 4 that no one has discovered yet.

Judging from the response on Krylosac's Reddit thread, many gamers will be glad for the opportunity to find everything the game has to offer before Fallout 4's DLC content releases. With the exception of extreme completionists, chances are most Fallout 4 players have missed at least a few things during their exploration of the wasteland, so this checklist app can potentially help to fill in the gaps.

Fallout 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
