As those who have already started playing Fallout 4 may have found out, the landscape of a post-apocalyptic Boston can be a very treacherous terrain. Alongside murderous bandits and bloodthirsty ghouls, there are also plenty of mutated monstrosities that want nothing more than to make the player character into a wholesome meal. The wasteland’s a dangerous place, and gamers will need every tool at their disposal to survive.
Thankfully, Fallout 4 is full of helpful items for the player to salvage to make sure they live another day. Those in the need of more juice for the nigh-on essential power armor can find every Fusion Core location right now, but gamers can also increase their character’s chances of survival in other ways. Fallout 4’s Bobbleheads offer up a permanent change in the player’s favor, and here’s a handy guide to the location of every one of the collectibles.
The Agility Bobblehead can be found on the Wreck of the FMS Northern Star. Make sure to go right to the edge of the bow of the ship. There, the Bobblehead is located beyond the deck huts on a wooden platform. This Bobblehead will permanently increase the player’s Agility by 1.
The Barter Bobblehead is perfect for those after a good deal from shopkeepers and traders, as it makes sure that prices are 5% better. Players will want to head to Longneck Lukowski’s Cannery, and then go to the main cannery room in the northwest upper section. Once there, the Bobblehead can be found inside the catwalk’s metal hut.
The Big Guns Bobblehead is found in Vault 95, on top of the radio in the northernmost room of the living quarters. If the player wants to add a little overkill to the power of rocket launchers, then this the Bobblehead to go for, giving a permanent +25% to critical damage with heavy weapons.
Fallout 4’s director stated that the title supported a mostly non-violent playthrough in the run-up to the game’s release, so a permanent +1 increase to Charisma may well be helpful to a pacifist player. The Bobblehead is located within the Administration area of Parsons State Insane Asylum, on a desk in Jack Cabot’s office.
Heading to Poseidon Energy will give the player the Endurance Bobblehead. The collectible can be found on a metal desk in the central metal catwalk, next to a steamer trunk. The Bobblehead grants a permanent +1 increase to the player’s Endurance.
Plasma and laser weapon enthusiasts should track down this Bobblehead, which gives the finder +25% critical damage with energy weapons. The Bobblehead is located in Fort Hagen, on a table in the southwest kitchens of the Command Center.
Players should roll out to Saugus Ironworks for this Bobblehead, and go to the catwalk in the Blast Furnace area by a steamer trunk and magazine. The Explosive Bobblehead gives +15% damage with explosive weapons.
Where else could players expect to find a permanent +1 increase to Intelligence than in Boston Public Library? Go to the mechanical room in the northwest corner, where the Bobblehead can be found on a bank of computers.
Why buy or kill for loot when it can be easily stolen? Lockpicking is made permanently easier with this Bobblehead, which can be found in the Pickman Gallery where the player meets Pickman in the last tunnel area.
Players who want a little extra helping hand from fate should go to Spectacle Island, and find the green boat on the south side of the island. The Bobblehead, which grants a permanent +1 increase to Luck, can be found in a locker.
Bethesda’s vice-president of PR may have given every Fallout fan a doctor’s note, but players need to take care of themselves in the game proper. To get a +10% increase to stimpak healing, go to Vault 81, where the Medicine Bobblehead can be found in Curie’s office in the southeast corner.
Players who prefer to get up close and personal should hunt down this Bobblehead, which gives +25% critical damage with melee weapons. The Melee Bobblehead can be found at the top of Trinity Tower, in the same cage where Strong and Rex are imprisoned.
The Perception Bobblehead is in the Museum of Freedom in Concord, and is sitting on a metal desk in the room above the front doors. This Bobblehead will permanently increase the player’s Perception by 1.
Players who make use of power armor should find this Bobblehead as soon as possible, as it grants a 10% increase to Fusion Core length. The Repair Bobblehead is in the Corvega Assembly Plant, on the highest catwalk in the southwest section of the plant.
The Science Bobblehead is in Malden Middle School, on the basement’s third level inside the vault building, on a desk. The Bobblehead grants the player an extra guess when hacking computer terminals.
To gain +25% critical damage with small guns, track down this Bobblehead. It is located in Gunners Plaza, and can be found in the on-air room on the west side of the ground floor on the broadcast desk.
The Sneak Bobblehead is found in Dunwich Borers, on the metal post terminal for area #4 on a metal table. This Bobblehead makes the player character 10% harder to detect.
This Bobblehead is great for players needing to offload their hoardings for Caps, as it makes all vendors have 100 additional Caps when bartering. The Speech Bobblehead is in Park Street Station (aka Vault 114), in the Overseer’s Office.
The Strength Bobblehead is located in the Mass Fusion Building lobby, where it can be found on a metal wall sculpture above the desk. The Bobblehead will permanently increase the player’s Strength by 1.
An ideal Bobblehead for Fallout 4 players who would like to try and pick a fistfight with a Deathclaw, as it grants +25% critical damage with unarmed attacks. The Unarmed Bobblehead is in the Atom Cats Garage, on a rusted car in the main warehouse.
