Season six of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is here, and with it comes a host of new and innovative platforming games for players to navigate if they want to take home a crown. One of these new modes, Party Promenade, features a gauntlet of just about every obstacle Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has in its roster.

Classic obstacles like the rubber barriers and slime hills are here, as are the new trapeze and pipe obstacles. With so much to keep track of, Party Promenade can be a difficult game to master without a few tips to help new players get started.

7 Grab Trapezes Whenever Possible

The trapeze obstacle is new with season six, and is a fun new addition to this battle royale for beginners. It's always the smart move to grab onto the trapeze bars in Party Promenade, as they provide a shortcut over or around challenging obstacles. What's more, they aren't that hard to use once the player has figured out the rhythm of their swings.

Carefully timing both the catch and release with a trapeze bar can give players an edge, and could mean the difference between placing high and not qualifying at all. There are three trapezes toward the end of the level, and each one of them has the potential to make or break a run.

6 Keep The Camera On A Swivel

Party Promenade is a twisting event that doubles back on itself more than once, so it's a good idea to be ready to turn the camera around when these moments happen in the game. There's little warning before the turn, so learning the location of these double-backs is key.

The first one is after the initial gauntlet of obstacles and appears to be a dead-end that actually drops players down below for the next set of obstacles. The second double-back happens during a pipe section and spits players out right before the first trapeze bar.

5 Commit To A Starting Pipe

The game kicks off with all players forced to choose from one of two pipes that lead to the same location. It's worthwhile to choose a pipe before the timer ends and stick to that pipe, as waffling between them can lead to an early elimination and cost players that coveted crown.

Getting to the starting pipe early gives players a stronger field position when coming out the other side, and the next section of the game features several difficult obstacles that are much easier to navigate with a smaller group of opponents.

4 Aim For The Yellow Pipes On The First Drop

As one of the best free-to-play battle royales games out there, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is always innovating with new obstacles. This season, that new obstacle is the pipe, and Party Promenade puts it on display immediately. A starting pipe leads to a giant funnel leading to more pipes, one green and two yellow.

The yellow pipes are more difficult to reach, especially around the orange bumpers, but they're well worth a player's time. Any Fall Guy bean that goes through one will drop into the next area with a noticeable headstart, and since the yellow pipes are higher up on the funnel, those players can get back on their feet a lot faster.

3 Learn Pipe Exit Points

Pipes are a new feature in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, and they offer a new, faintly-Mario-themed wrinkle to the game that can leave some players a little turned around. Pipes will automatically transport players to new areas of the course, and learning where they let out allows players to react quickly to their new environment.

There's one pipe that can get confusing when it doubles back on itself before launching players toward the next obstacle. Another set of twin pipes are optional pathways that can shoot players up to a hidden trapeze that provides easy access to the finish line.

2 Position Carefully At The First Double Back

Party Promenade features two double-backs mentioned above alongside its various obstacles gauntlets, and the first one has the potential to ruin a good run with the classic, rubber barriers. After players make their way through the first obstacle run, they should position themselves carefully before dropping down to the lower level.

The drop features a slime hill that dramatically boosts each player's speed while sliding down, but there are also rubber bumpers and poles down below that will block progress if they're not avoided. Choosing a good position to drop from while still on the upper level is a strong strategy for this game mode, and can lead to a headstart in the next section.

1 Time The Balloon Cannons

It makes sense for a kid-friendly platformer to have balloon cannons, though they can be a bit tricky to manage in Party Promenade. The easiest way to avoid them is to head toward where the cannons are already shooting, and time it to stay outside their range while heading in that direction.

The side cannons can be a bit trickier to avoid, as they're slightly out of sight on the edges of the screen. The best method for dodging these balloons is to stick as close to the middle of the path as possible. The middle of the path is at the very end of each cannon's range, so it significantly diminishes the chances of getting hit.
