Mediatonic is continuing to change up how players play Fall Guys during Season 2. Recently, Mediatonic added a new feature to Fall Guys that put players in a playlist of certain courses, a new addition to the game in its second season. Today, Mediatonic is rolling out a new mode called Slime Survivors that features elimination type game modes.

The new Show in Fall Guys, Slime Survivors, puts players in a playlist that only consists of games where if a player fails, they are eliminated from the competition immediately. This means players will see games like Slime Climb and Perfect Match fairly often and the final rounds will be either Hex-A-Gone and Jump Showdown.

Slime Climb is notoriously one of the more difficult courses in Fall Guys but Mediatonic has promised that players will not get Slime Climb in back to back rounds, though they may see several games of Perfect Match or even six rounds of Block Party in a row.

Since it launched last week, Season 2 of Fall Guys has brought plenty of welcome changes to the game to keep things fresh and interesting. As well as adding these timed playlists to enhance the gameplay experience, Mediatonic is working on other fixes to improve the quality of life for its popular battle royale. For example, the different layers in Hex-A-Gone will receive a color swap, something that the community had been asking for since some players found it difficult to see their characters against similar colored floor pieces.

Quality of life improvements aren't the only updates coming to Fall Guys as Mediatonic is constantly adding in new variations to courses just as players seem to master them. After the success of its first random addition, the Big Yeetus, Mediatonic cranked the chaos up a notch by introducing the Thicc Bonkus in Fall Guys Season 2. The Thicc Bonkus is a giant rotating wheel with spikes that causes utter mayhem in the middle of crowded races.

Fall Guys is still riding its massive popularity into its second season and has been bringing all kinds of different changes, updates, and fun additions for fans since the game launched in August. To further show off its overwhelming popularity and industry impact, Fall Guys added an official Sonic the Hedgehog outfit to the game that players could buy for 10 crowns. Unfortunately, the Sonic outfit will not help players complete races faster.

Fall Guys is available now on PC and PS4.
