Mediatonic's Fall Guys is now free to play, and after reaching 20 million players after being made more accessible, the game has now revealed what its next season is all about. The party game is one of the many live-service titles available currently that thrives off of using "seasons" to mark the next roll-out of content, dealing with new cosmetics, stages, challenges, and more. This means players have a bunch of new content starring their favorite beans to look forward to.

Season 2 of Fall Guys is titled "Satellite Scramble," and is due to launch on September 15. During the event, players can earn points towards a Season Pass with both free and premium rewards similar to last season. There are over 100 levels of goodies for players to earn from cosmetic patterns, colors, and Show-Bucks in-game currency. There are also new costumes available to unlock in the Pass that fit the theme rather well like Star Trek's Spock, Aliens' Xenomorph, and even Vocaloid Hatsune Miku.

On top of the brand-new Season Pass, Fall Guys fans will be given an all-new event to play, similar to the Sonic's Adventure collab event featuring the Sonic the Hedgehog skins. In "Satellite Explorers," players will need to make their way through unique levels made for Season 2 in order to repair a broken satellite. As fans play, they'll earn points to unlock rewards such as the nickname of "Space Bean" and a special satellite backpack item.

The new levels being brought to the game when Fall Guys' first season ends are space-themed stages such as Tip Toe Finale, which features four squads of players seeing who can find their secret path the fastest in order to win. Another new level, Hyperdrive Heroes, sees fans needing to avoid obstacles to stay on a big hoverboard heading towards the finish line. Other new Rounds include Starchart, Pixel Painters, Cosmic Highway, Hex-a-terrestrial, Space Race, and Frantic Factory.

If fans think Season 2 sounds exciting, then they'll be happy to hear that they don't have much longer to wait to experience it. According to the official Fall Guys blog run by Mediatonic, the update will also come with bug fixes, improvements, and other new features.

One of these improvements may be that unlike season one, where the Season Pass was one path with premium unlocks, there may be separate passes starting with Season 2, which was a criticism that came out when Fall Guys originally went free to play. The official blog also teases surprises that will only be revealed once Satellite Scramble fully launches. It seems fans will need to keep their eyes out for more fun news coming soon.

Fall Guys is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
