Fall Guys' Season 3 content is about halfway over now, and players have been treated to a bunch of new levels and more over the past month or so. Fall Guys' Season 3.5 update added a brand new level, over 40 variations of existing levels, and a handful of new costumes to earn.

However, it seems that Fall Guys may be getting another high profile collaboration sometime in the near future. According to prominent Fortnite leaker, Fortnite Leaks, code found in Fall Guys seems to heavily suggest a Fortnite crossover is in the works, with multiple costumes referencing iconic Fortnite characters and imagery.

Fortnite Leaks, who also goes by Max, tweeted out the information today saying, "new strings were just added to the Fall Guys content system." These strings reference the Fortnite Llama, Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Bunny Brawler, and Ripley. All of these iconic Fortnite skins are easily recognizable to anyone who's played the game before, so it seems clear that Fall Guys will be getting some sort of crossover with the massive battle royale title. Unfortunately, it seems like there's no official word yet on whether or not Fortnite will be getting some sort of Fall Guys content at the time of writing.

This crossover event doesn't come as too much of a surprise, considering Fall Guys has had some high profile crossover events in the past. Just recently, Fall Guys showcased a Doom collaboration, which saw the adorable Fall Guy characters dressed up as the Doomslayer, the Cacodemon, and the Cyberdemon. While the Doom crossover only showcased those three skins, it seems like this upcoming Fortnite collaboration will feature at least five skins according to the leak. Of course, it's always important to mention that these are still just leaks, and no official information has been confirmed yet.

Still, these leaks don't seem too far-fetched. Fall Guys and Fortnite seem like two properties that would very well together for a variety of different reasons. Hopefully, Fortnite will end up getting some kind of Fall Guys crossover event as well in the future. Fortnite is known for having major collaborations with all kinds of pop culture figures, be it real life or fictional. Epic Games has also collaborated with different video game properties recently, like having God of War's Kratos infiltrate Fortnite as a playable character.

With any luck, fans will get some official word on this crossover event in the near future. If there is any indication that Fall Guys still has plenty of life left in it, it's a Fortnite collaboration. There has been a lot of talk recently about Fall Guys being a "dead game" after it's meteoric popularity slowly fell after its launch in August. Fall Guys still has tons of players and community members supporting the game online regularly, so worried players shouldn't concern themselves too much about the future of Fall Guys. Especially with collaborations like this potentially on the horizon.

Fall Guys is available now on PC and PS4.
