Fall Guys has been a smash-hit thanks to a mixture of Twitch popularity and being free on PS Plus, but that doesn't mean there aren't worthwhile changes to be made. Now, the official Fall Guys Twitter account is offering players a chance to offer some input on the game, specifically where the best and worst rounds are concerned. The survey is brief but touches on a number of things players might want to offer input on.

Covering seven different questions, the survey asks players to rank their favorite types of modes, say where they'd like to see improvements, and how many new modes players want out of new Fall Guys seasons, which will happen every two months. It's quite a bit of data to collect from the community, and if taken to heart, it could help shape the way the game evolves.

Not every game mode released in Fall Guys has been well-received. While most of them have managed to keep players engaged, some fans have vented about things like Fall Guys' team games since launch, which seems to stem from players frustrated with losing at the hands of other players. Some changes have been made to lackluster stages, and there are revisions planned for others, like the memory game Perfect Match.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed to change, but it does give Fall Guys developer Mediatonic a better idea of where to take the game in the future. With any luck, that will mean content custom-tailored to what fans of the game want. That could mean a lot of different things, but it could result in new game modes far removed from anything the developer has tried before, or even just quality of life tweaks.

At its core, Fall Guys is still a battle royale game, just one that is unlike any other currently on the market.  For it to remain successful, it needs to incorporate near-constant changes to keep it relevant in a competitive market, which can be a challenging task — especially when navigating somewhat uncharted waters.

For now, Fall Guys players have a ton of content that recently dropped with Fall Guys season 2. There will undoubtedly be more on the horizon, and if the survey serves its purpose, players will have a host of new stuff more entertaining than anything else that has come before it, which could help breathe new life into it, not that it needs help in that department currently, though.

Fall Guys is available now for PC and PS4.
