Though it may have its detractors, it seems near impossible to deny Fall Guys' continued success. The game is about to enter its third season of content, and developer Mediatonic has confirmed that the game managed to sell over 11 million units on the PC alone.

That success is no doubt partly responsible for all of the collaborations fans have been able to enjoy since launch. Fall Guys has received skins based on other video game characters, from Sonic the Hedgehog to the goose from Untitled Goose Game, and now it appears that a Bethesda icon will be ripping and tearing into the game soon.

Earlier today, the official Doom Twitter account posted a message directed at Fall Guys, which was followed up by the Fall Guys account. The picture it posted looks to be a silhouette of one of Fall Guys' bean people dressed in the Doom Slayer armor.

Though it might technically not be an official confirmation, it's safe to assume this means that a Doom Slayer skin is coming to Fall Guys at some point (possibly as part of Season 3). As for when it could release, it may very well appear in only a week's time. Doom Eternal will be releasing on Nintendo Switch next week (albeit only digitally), so it would make sense for the skin's release to coincide with that.

Fall Guys Season 3 should be started by then as well, and it will be sporting a Fall Guys winter theme to match the Christmas season.

Fall Guys is available on PC and PlayStation 4.
