Since the game's debut late last year, Fall Guys has collaborated with several iconic video game properties, bringing skins centered around some of the industry's biggest names to its battle royale experience. The Doom Slayer, Sonic, Chell, Gordan Freeman, and Alyx have all made the jump to the game since its release, and now, it seems a significant indie darling will be joining the roster.

Announced via the game's official Twitter account, Cuphead's titular protagonist and his partner, Mugman, will both be making the jump to the popular multiplayer title. Cuphead will be available this Wednesday and Mugman will arrive on Saturday, with both costumes setting players back five crowns for the top half and another five crowns for the bottom half.

Alongside the outfits, there will also be an added emote, which will cost a further five crowns. The costumes feature both Cuphead and Mugman's distinctive red and blue color-swapped mug heads complete with the straw protruding out of the cup, alongside their white gloves, shorts, and oversized shoes. As always for a Fall Guys costume, the beans inside each outfit is visible, with their faces poking out of Cuphead and Mugman's mouths. The pair make fun costumes and are a worthy expansion of Fall Guys' collection of strong, indie-game-focused skins, with the battle royale collaborating with the likes of Untitled Goose Game, My Friend Pedro, Hotline Miami, and Enter the Gungeon in the past.

For those who don't recognize the two newest additions to Fall Guysguest costume roster, Studio MDHR's Cuphead: Don't Deal With The Devil saw the introduction of both protagonists back in 2017. The combat-focused, side-scroller was unique in the fact that it was styled like a 30s cartoon, with the studio hand-drawing its levels, bosses, and animations. It took years, but eventually Cuphead released to unanimously positive reviews, with players loving its challenging combat, intricate enemy designs, and wholly unique aesthetic.

The game is slated to receive a new slice of DLC later this year, with Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course bringing Cuphead and Mugman back for a new adventure, this time with the main campaign's Ms. Chalice tagging along as a third playable character. It's sure to introduce more intimidating bosses, stunning levels, and punishing battles for players to indulge in. As for Fall Guys, the game is currently in its third season, recently receiving a mid-season update that offered new variations on its current courses. It looks to be moving onto a fourth season in the coming weeks.

Fall Guys is out now on PC and PlayStation 4, with Switch and Xbox versions currently slated to launch this summer.
