In Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout's charity event "Battle of the Brands," a last-minute donation of $1,000,000 put together by a group of popular esports streamers and brands won the bidding war.

Following its highly successful launch earlier this month, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has seen crazy hype on Twitter, mainly in the form of fan-made and brand-made skins. Aided by the media manager controlling the Fall Guys Twitter account, some hilarious Fall Guys mockup collaborations have been thrown onto the internet, with fans hoping that at least some of them get recreated into real skins in the game.

In response, the Fall Guys Twitter began a charity event known as "Battle of the Brands" for those companies and fans that wanted to compete for an in-game costume. The donated money will go to Special Effect, a charity geared towards using technology to help those with physical disabilities get the most fun out of video games. It uses modified controllers such as eye-controlled systems and customized joysticks to support folks unable to use traditional commercial products. For those who wanted to participate in the charity event, all they had to do was reply to the original Fall Guys tweet with how much they were willing to donate. After two weeks, the highest bidder would win their own brand on a Fall Guys costume.

Fall Guys did a countdown leading up to the final announcement of the winner. But in the last few minutes of the event, the popular YouTube streamer known as Ninja tweeted out that he, along with Mr Beast, G2 Esports, and Aim Lab would be collectively donating a whopping $1,000,000, effectively winning the competition. Following this incredible contribution, the Fall Guys account announced that the prize would include four costumes as a "special thank you to the amazing people that made this possible."

Even better, Special Effect has gained a lot of attention since Fall Guys launched the charity event, earning donations from those who couldn't afford to bid a great amount during the "Battle of the Brands" event. And Ninja, being one of the most popular streamers of 2020, actually already had his own Fall Guys mockup skin posted to Twitter a few days ago by Aim Lab with the caption "Spoiler Alert!" It features his classic blue hair and yellow "Ninja" headband with the Aim Lab logo and brand colors covering the character's skin. It's unclear if this is the final design of one of the winning costumes, however.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is out now for PC and PS4.
