Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been massively successful, becoming the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time. It also has a strong social media presence, particularly on Twitter where it shares fan projects like an a cappella beatbox cover of Fall Guys' main theme or outfit concept art, as well as memes and sometimes disturbing theories about how its jelly bean characters would translate into real life.

Mediatonic Community Manager Oliver Hindle shared a post on his personal Twitter account that depicts the game's characters broken into different anatomical models for their skeletons, muscular systems, internal organs, and more. He said he didn't know if he could get away with posting it on the game's official social media, though the break-down contributes to an interesting picture of the cute, customizable characters given it has previously been confirmed that the Fall Guys are 6 feet tall.

The battle royale has become such a sensation that Mediatonic is actively hiring to expand its operation, including another Community Manager position. Hindle's Twitter presence has arguably been a big part of Fall Guys' viral success, and he appeared alongside Lead Developer Joe Walsh on Talk Guys — an in-game talk show from the creators of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons show, Animal Talking.

While the game grows, its developers are preparing new content to help keep players engaged. A medieval-themed Fall Guys Season 2 was announced during Gamescom 2020's Opening Night Live, promising a bevy of new stages with themes like castles as well as costumes based on dragons, knights, wizards, and more.

Fall Guys' popularity, combined with the planned addition of new content similar to battle royale titles like Epic Games' Fortnite and Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends, has set the stage for it to potentially thrive in the world of esports. Last week, Panda Global announced a professional Fall Guys team was being created, though it's currently unclear how the game would work in a "professional" setting.

Regardless of whether or not Fall Guys becomes the next big thing in esports and hosts multi-million dollar tournaments in the vein of Dota 2, it will undoubtedly continue to resonate with players. However, as Mediatonic adds more content to play and outfits to wear, some of those players may not ever be able to forget the image of a Fall Guys character's skeletal system thanks to Hindle's post.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC and PS4.
