Many fans of Pokemon will likely agree that the whole franchise is an expert in developing some of the best merchandise for its community. Not only does The Pokemon Company cater to gamers through its upcoming titles such as Pokemon Legends Arceus, it has also amassed love from the general audience with unique items and real-world activities. Now, the franchise has revealed another new collection of merchandise, and this time, the range of item designs focus on how Pokemon look when they have fainted from battle.

Though much news about Pokemon these days still revolves around the new and current video games, many fans continue to wait for new merchandise or collaboration updates. And once an announcement has been made, it seems pretty normal for the community to order enough of the items to sell them out. This is especially true with high-demand brand partnerships such as the Pokemon x Bear Walker skateboards. Nevertheless, The Pokemon Company seems to like keeping their fans on their toes, and now as well, with the new fainted Pokemon collection currently only available in Japan.

On the official Japanese Pokemon Twitter account, the cute item collection was announced to be made available in the country's physical Pokemon Center stores starting October 30, and online on October 28. The designs of the merchandise depict what the pocket monsters look like when they have lost in battle. Normally this is indicated by swirls replacing the Pokemon's eyes, as seen in the different items across the collection. Several of the Pokemon from the lineup are from different generations, and include Pikachu, Snorlax, Gengar, Dragonite, Poliwrath, Spinda, and Scorbunny.

Though there are no huge Pokemon stuffed toys in the fainted collection, the different items can cater to a fan's real-life needs. Aside from mini stuffed plushie keychains, the product range includes a Scorbunny pencil case, clear folders, a desk organizer, Pikachu and Snorlax laundry baskets, a Gengar neck pillow, a Spinda eye mask, and a Dragonite hoodie, among other things. For a Pokemon fan who wants to have some fainted Pokemon in their homes, these are really cute items to purchase.

Unfortunately, as with most of the unique Pokemon merchandise announced by the company, the fainted Pokemon items are only currently being offered in Japan. Though there is an English version of the online Pokemon Center, no announcements have been made if the products will be sold in other regions. Fans will just have to wait and see, or use a shopping service, to get their hands on these items.
