Demon Doors are optional challenges that players can attempt in the Fable franchise. These challenges can range from rather obscure to incredibly easy. Each door holds a treasure chest with unique items that range from legendary weapons to outfits. That being said, Fable 2's Demon Doors are iconic for just how strange some of the challenges are.

While most RPGs would task players with killing a certain number of enemies or obtaining a rare item, these Demon Doors might ask for the player to laugh in their face or kick a chicken into its mouth. Here are all nine Demon Door challenges present in Fable 2 and how to solve them.

9 Bloodstone Demon Door: Play Your Lute

One of Fable 2's earliest Demon Doors can be found in Bloodstone. While on the path to Wraithmarsh, players should find a strange door with a face on it. Approaching it will prompt the player to play a tune on their Lute. Once the player obtains a Lute from any store, they simply need to play the Lute perfectly in front of the door.

When the success bar stops shrinking and is green, landing on that space and ending the song will count as a perfect performance and open the door. Inside is a Master Longsword that has 4 augment slots.

8 Bower Lake Demon Door: React To The Door's Play

From the Gypsy Camp in Bower Lake, players will cross two bridges and eventually meet a fork in the road. Heading left will lead to a Demon Door that begins to recite a play. The door requires players to react to his lines.

Players will need to Laugh, Fart, Point & Laugh, Middle Finger, Vulgar Thrust, Growl, Bloodlust Roar, Dance, and Blow Kiss in that order to get the Demon Door to open. Most of these expressions can be found in the Bowerstone bookstore, although the Blow Kiss expression requires 2,500 Renown and the Laugh expression is obtained when the player reaches 75% good morality. A chest containing the Lucky Charm augment lies beyond the door.

It seems the Bowerstone Cemetary Demon Door has a serious craving for meat, specifically chicken. Upon finding this door next to the Old Town entrance, players will need to appease the door by either kicking a chicken into its mouth or feeding it a Crunchy Chick.

Players can typically find wandering chickens near the cemetery, but they can also purchase a Crunchy Chick from most stores for a small fee. Satisfying this door's hunger pangs will reward the player with a Balverine Strength Potion, Practised Skill Potion, and Infused Will Potion.

6 Brightwood Demon Door: Indulge The Door's Weird Requests

Out of every Demon Door in Fable 2, the door found in Brightwood near Giles's Farm is hands-down the strangest of the bunch. It seems this door has a fascination with cheese and strange attire similar to Sheogorath from The Elder Scrolls franchise. To open this door, players will first need to give it cheese. Once that's done, it'll want players to obtain a certain hairstyle and facial hair that can typically be acquired from Bowerstone. Third, this door wants the player to wear a certain outfit that can be obtained from Bowerstone. Finally, it will ask for the player to wear a certain hat that can usually be found in Oakfield.

Since this door can pick nearly every piece of attire in Fable 2, the best way to complete this challenge quickly is to listen to what the door demands. Completing this much busywork will reveal that the Demon Door has been looted before. Inside the chest is the Lad of The Night Outfit. While likely intended to be a joke from Lionhead Studios about how much busywork the player just went through, this lackluster reward stings regardless.

5 Oakfield Demon Door: Show The Door Some Love

This Demon Door in Oakfield has one of the easiest challenges in the game. Once players stand near it on the outskirts of town, it will ask to see a sign of true love before its own stone eyes. In gameplay terms, it wants to see a marriage proposal.

Once an NPC falls in love with the player, bring them in front of the door and propose to get the Demon Door to open. If a player is already married, they can simply use the Blow Kiss expression to open the door. Inside is a personal farm, the Come Hither, Dear expression, and the incredibly strong Hammerthyst legendary Hammer.

4 Rookridge Demon Door: Show Off Your Dog's Tricks

Rookridge has a Demon Door that has a serious passion for tricks. This door can be found to the left of Rookridge Inn after the player walks down a short pathway. Players will need to have their dog do five tricks in front of the door for it to open.

Using any expression will cause the dog to react in a certain way, so players simply need to use a large variety of expressions to achieve five dog tricks. If the player's dog has died for any reason, it will appear as a ghost and can still do tricks next to the door. Opening this door grants a Potion of Life.

3 Westcliff Demon Door: Achieve 50% Corruption Or Higher

From the Howling Path in Westcliff, head straight down the path until a Demon Door makes itself apparent to the right of this path. It will only open if the player reaches 50% or higher Corruption rating.

Corruption can be accumulated by charging higher rent for owned properties, drinking alcohol, or obtaining the Heart of Corruption buff from sleeping. Inside lies The Calavera legendary Mace.

2 Wraithmarsh Demon Door: Bring 10 Friends

Wraithmarsh's Demon Door is arguably the harder doors to unlock in Fable 2. Players will need to recruit ten followers at once and escort them to the door for it to open. Getting ten followers is the easy part. Players can either enter a town that adores them and convince ten NPCs to follow them or, arguably the easier path, win over the affection of ten prostitutes in Bloodstone.

Regardless of who the ten followers are, head to the Drowned Farm in Wraithmarsh and run as fast as possible away from the nearby Banshees. Doing this fast enough should prevent any NPC deaths. Present the small ensemble to the door and it'll open up, revealing The Perforator legendary Turret Rifle and Terry Cotter's Final Diary.

1 Fairfax Gardens Demon Door: Open Every Other Demon Door In The Game

The Fairfax Gardens Demon Door is both the easiest and hardest door to unlock in Fable 2. To unlock it, the player simply needs to open every other Demon Door in the game. This door can be found just under the entrance to the castle proper.

Inside lies 50,000 gold and Marcus's Poem. This poem is a reference to Marcus Welfare, one of the developers of Fable: The Lost Chapters that died when he was 19. The poem was written by Marcus himself.
