The world of Albion, as featured in Fable 3, is a large and dense place filled with a lot of different things to find. The most unusual of them are the Demon Doors. These mysterious, rock-faced structures serve as portals to other worlds.

Thankfully, most of them are simple to find as they're marked on the game's map. But it's not possible to simply stroll through them. A person has to fulfill special requests to get the doors to open. Unfortunately, most of the requirements are very vague, which is why they are often regarded as one of the more annoying things in the game. But players who do get through them are rewarded with some useful goodies and an achievement. Here is how to open them all.

7 Brightwall Village

A unique feature in the Fable series is the ability to have or adopt children. Unfortunately, they don't grow up to be some of the best characters in the franchise, but they're vital for the Demon Door in Brightwall.

To open said door, players need to perform a positive expression to a child in front of it — it's located inside of the front gate to the right. The game's hand holding mechanic makes it simple to get a kid over there. However, it can only be the protagonist's offspring as the game (understandably) doesn't allow the player to hold random kids' hands.

6 Mourningwood

The Demon Door in Mourningwood is situated next to a small village. Before approaching it, players need to make sure they have the level 5 melee or level 5 ranged skill. Once they do, they need to stand in front of the door and get either their melee or ranged weapon out (depending on which level 5 skill they have), and it should open. It can take a few tries.

Some also say that the protagonist needs to upgrade one of the game's cool legendary weapons to get past the door, but there are conflicting reports around that. So, those who don't have a legendary weapon should still give it a shot.

5 Millfields

To open the Millfields Demon Door, the protagonist needs to be ugly and overweight (in the opinion of the door). This means that players have to get themselves to max weight by consuming plenty of fatty food like pies and fish. Whereas to become ugly, they need to wear some awful clothing. A set of pajamas where each part is dyed a different color tends to work.

With the added weight and ugly outfit, go to the door located near the lake. It will be so repulsed by how the protagonist looks that it'll open. It just goes to show that being in incredible shape like most of gaming's best heroes doesn't solve everything.

4 City Of Aurora

A big aspect of Fable — that many want to see in a reboot — is moral alignment. It's a feature that heavily comes into play when trying to go through the City Of Aurora Demon Door. The thing will only open for people who are completely good or completely evil.

The quickest way to achieve that is to use the kingdom treasury — only accessible to Kings and Queens. Put a bunch of money into it, and the purity slider will move to the good side, whereas taking money from the treasury will have the exact opposite effect. Regardless of how they do it, as long as players are on one end of the scale, the door will open once they approach it.

3 Sunset House

Getting to Sunset House is actually a lot harder than opening the Demon Door that resides there. Players first need to spawn in Mourningwood and head to the right of its Demon Door through the water. Eventually, they'll get to an area with wooden walls, keep following it to arrive at a huge tree. Then go right again, and there should be a gate; that is the entrance to the Sunset House area.

The Demon Door is through the trees to the left of the gate. If the protagonist is the King or Queen of Albion, then the door will open.

2 Mistpeak Valley

It's possible to play through the entirety of Fable 3 with a friend. In fact, it's a co-op experience that rivals some of the best ever. And players will need a partner (or a second controller) to open this Demon Door.

It's located in the snowy area just up from the lake. Players have to either marry their friend there (requires the Lover Expression pack) or go through all of the different positive expressions with them until the door opens. It can be fiddly, so if going for the expression method, the Joker expression pack might be needed.

1 Ravenscar Keep (DLC)

While Fable 3 doesn't provide the best DLC content ever, its Trader's Keep expansion is still a solid addition to the game. One thing it includes is a brand new Demon Door. Before getting to open it, though, players need to gather each part of the prisoner suit. This requires doing the Undeath Sentence and Prison Management For Beginners quests to access different areas of the island.

Once the whole outfit has been obtained, equip it, then head south of the Ravenscar Keep entrance to find the Demon Door. It'll mistake the protagonist for a prisoner and let them through.
