The latest rumors for Bethesda's E3 2016 press conference claim that both The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 will be announced at the show.

Fans are excited to see what Bethesda's second E3 press conference has in store this Sunday, but it appears as though many details on it are leaking ahead of time. The latest details supposedly leaked for Bethesda's E3 2016 press conference deal with two new game announcements, in the form of The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Order 2.

Further details on The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 are not available at this time. However, considering the positive reception both those games received, it's not all that surprising to learn that sequels are in development and set for a reveal at E3.

This information, which should be taken with a grain of salt, was leaked to Eurogamer, who also claimed that a reworked Prey 2 will also be announced during Bethesda's E3 press conference. To that end, Eurogamer corroborated the previous reports of an Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remaster appearing at the show as well.

With all these rumors about what Bethesda has in store for its E3 press conference, one has to figure that at least some of them are true. With The Evil Within releasing in 2014, Tango Gameworks has had two years to work on a new project, so it seems as though The Evil Within 2 should be fairly far along in development. Considering this, an E3 reveal for the hypothetical game is not that farfetched of an idea.

As for Wolfenstein: The New Order 2, this isn't even the first time we've heard of the game, as one of the voice actors on the first game leaked the sequel's existence last year. Furthermore, the first game released in 2014, meaning that the timing is right for a potential Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 announcement.

Both Wolfenstein: The New Order and The Evil Within are rife with potential for sequels, so it will be exciting to see what direction the sequels take. Of course, there's a chance that neither game even exists, so fans should wait until Bethesda's press conference this coming Sunday before getting too excited about the games.

Bethesda's press conference at least year's E3 event was one of the highlights of the show. Excitement for Fallout 4 was at an all time high, and Bethesda's other projects had strong showings as well. It will take a lot for Bethesda to top last year's press conference, but if all these new game rumors turn out to be true, then the company may just be able to pull it off.

The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 are just rumors at this point, but are possibly in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
