Early on in The Evil Within 2, players are shown Sebastian's room, which is a replica of the police station where he used to work before the events of the first game. This room serves as a hub for players to enter and exit the Union open world, as well as upgrade Sebastian's abilities, craft weapons, check out his mysterious object collection, and more.
Something else players can do in Sebastian's room in The Evil Within 2 is use the slide projector to watch slides that they can find hidden throughout the game world. In total, there are 11 photographic slides to collect, and each one comes with commentary from Kidman to better flesh out the game world and story.

Chapter 2: Something Not Quite Right
The first slide in The Evil Within 2 is so easy to find that it's virtually impossible for players to miss it. It's located on the desk right next to the projector, where the black cat can be found hanging out most of the time.
Chapter 3: Resonances
Once Sebastian is free to explore the open world of Union in Chapter 3, head to 336 Cedar Avenue. Go to the master bedroom to find a file sitting on a table in the center of the room. Picking up this file triggers a nightmare sequence where Sebastian has to escape from The Anima, a creepy monster that has to be avoided rather than fought at this point in the game.
After successfully escaping The Anima, Sebastian will be back in Union. Sitting on the table where the file once sat will be the second photographic slide, so be sure to pick it up. Next head to 345 Cedar Avenue and go to the garage to find a file lying on a gurney. Grab it and then go to the living room to see the TV freaking out with static.
Upon investigating the TV, Sebastian will be transported to Beacon Hospital, the location from the first game. Follow the path here to find a wheelchair with the slide on it.
Chapter 6: On the Hunt
Enter The Marrow in Chapter 6 and head to the Facilities area. This is otherwise known as the area in The Marrow with all the white goo everywhere. Anyway, Sebastian will pass through a room with a bunch of old computers in it, and a projection of him talking to Myra will be displayed on the wall. Instead of just continuing the story, examine the projector to find the next slide. Be sure to watch the slide back at Sebastian's room as watching all the slides is also required to earn the "Chatting with Kidman" achievement/trophy.
Chapter 7: Lust for Art
Chapter 7 is a very important chapter when it comes to collecting all the photographic slides in The Evil Within 2. Not only is there a slide to collect at this point, but players also have to start doing side quests for the Mobius operative named Sykes in order to find a slide later on, in Chapter 13.
Before we worry about Sykes and his side quests, let's find the slide actually found in Chapter 7 first. To get to this slide, head to Juke's Diner in the Business District of Union. There's a resonance point in here where a dead body can be found sitting on a chair. Use the communicator to access the resonance point. After that sequence is over, the photographic slide will magically appear on the chair next to the corpse.
Next players will need to complete some side quests for Sykes. The first is Out in the Open, which is impossible to miss as players will be forced to head through this area while going about their main story business. After completing this particular side quest, Sykes will give players the quest called Getting Back Online. Complete that and then don't worry about Sykes again until Chapter 13.
Chapter 11: Reconnecting
Out of all the chapters in The Evil Within 2, Chapter 11 has the most photographic slides for players to collect with three. To get the first one, players need to return to Sebastian's room at any point after reaching Torres's safehouse. The slide can be found in the office on the desk where all the Mobius operative pictures are hanging.
Return to Torres's safehouse and use the computer here to enter The Marrow. There's a huge door labeled CE-C03 with a fuse box next to it. Flip all the switches and the door will open, revealing a path Sebastian can follow to one of Father Theodore's altars. The seventh photographic slide can be found sitting on top of the altar.
Continue progressing through the story and eventually players will be forced into another sequence with The Anima after reading a file on a computer in Restricted Labs area of The Marrow. Once again, play through this sequence and upon returning to The Marrow proper, the photographic slide will have magically appeared on the desk in front of Sebastian.
Chapter 12: Bottomless Pit
This is photographic slide is rather hard to miss. During the sequence when Sebastian is exploring his home, go to Lily's room to find it sitting on a cupboard.
Chapter 13: Stronghold
Players can only collect the 10th slide if they had previously completed the side quests for Sykes. In Chapter 13, Sykes will contact Sebastian to complete the side quest called The Last Step. After that mission is complete, Sykes will leave behind a photographic slide for players to collect.
With the 10th photographic slide in tow, all that's left is to return to Sebastian's room. Use the slide projector to watch all the slides if that hasn't been done already, and then players will be prompted to follow the black cat to the 11th and final slide. It will be found on the chair that Sebastian typically sits in to upgrade his abilities.
For The Evil Within 2 enthusiasts that are invested in the game's story, finding all the photographic slides is certainly worth the effort. Not only will it net them an achievement/trophy, but it will also expand on the game's story and allow them to learn more about protagonist Sebastian Castellanos. In the meantime, those that hope to achieve 100% completion in the game will still need to find all of the other collectibles, including files, mysterious objects, locker keys, and more.
