Evil West developer Flying Wild Hog has revealed about how long it takes to beat. Players will now have an idea of what to expect from Evil West by developer Flying Wild Hog in regard to the length of the game and the amount of content it will have, whether they plan to play solo or in co-op with their friends.

Flying Wild Hog announced that Evil West will have two player co-op, which was a welcome surprise after the recent delay of the game. Evil West is an action-adventure 3rd person co-op, or single player, experience in a world of cowboys fighting against vampires. Evil West will have players take control of vampire hunter and gunslinger Jesse Rentier, as well as introduce a cast of interesting characters throughout its story.

Since the Evil West gameplay overview trailer was a thrilling presentation of fascinating concepts that resembled familiar gameplay elements like in Gears of War and Doom, players may be more eager to learn what they can expect from the game in its upcoming launch this week. In an interview with Xbox Dynasty, Flying Wild Hog revealed that the main campaign will roughly be between 10-15 hours, which is fully playable in co-op if players decide to embark on this adventure with a friend. However, players will be pleased to know that the estimated completion time does not include all the extra modes Evil West will be launching with, such as four difficulty modes, mission replay, new game plus, and even a permadeath mode. All the modes seem to revolve around the campaign, which offers multiple avenues on how players can choose to tackle it.

It should also be noted that Evil West will not exploit its players through loot boxes and Season Passes, as expressed through its new trailer featuring Danny Trejo that pokes fun at some of the more controversial elements of the gaming industry.

The Evil West developers revealed the performance across all platforms, and between their openness to discuss its specs, their marketing that pokes fun at monetization schemes, and their willingness to talk about what players can expect from its content, it's great to see Flying Wild Hog leading the way in how to best launch a game from a consumer perspective.

Evil West will be available on November 22 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
