The Factory is a very small and confined map compared to the other areas in Escape From Tarkov. One of the most common complaints about the map is that it is impossible to survive for more than 10 seconds before being killed near one of the spawn points. Survival is important in Tarkov, and Factory is one of the most dangerous maps in the game.

The Factory map is designed for PVP, and people will have to frequently fend off enemies and win gunfights to survive. Because the map is unique and hectic, gamers will want to have a calculated approach before spawning in. Factory is not for the faint of heart, and players will need all the help they can get to survive the chaos.

10 Be Aware Of Hot Zones

Tarkov Factory

Almost all of the PVP activity will occur in two zones, the Office and Forklifts. Both of these areas will almost always have at least one opposing player in them. Conservative players will want to stay has far away from the hot zone has possible.

Factory is a really fun map if played correctly. However, taking the wrong approach will result in a lot of deaths and the depletion of cash and resources, so watch out for these zones.

9 Pay Attention To Spawn Points

There are a total of eight main spawn points on the Factory Map. Four are just south of the Office, and two are near the Forklifts. The other two spawn locations are north of the Silos and on the west end of the Glass Hallway.

The design essentially forces players to fight either in the Forklifts or the Office, creating the hotspots in those areas. For that reason, both locations will have the most activity on the map.

8 Common PMC Strategy

There are essentially two viable strategies on Factory. The first is to push into one of the hot zones and fight. Most users will be employing aggressive Office/Forklift strategies to kill PMCs.

Some players will choose to exploit the spawn points instead. After spawning in, gamers need to be extremely careful of their surroundings and seek out cover immediately. Spawn campers are sneaky and will stay as quiet as possible until they hear movement.

7 Essential Items For Factory

All players will want to have the Factory Key to use both gate zero and gate 3 when necessary. This item is available at the Flea Market for purchase. Additionally, having a larger magazine is necessary because there will be enemies everywhere. The tight corridors and tunnels will often contain multiple opponents.

The only other Factory specific item gamers may want to consider is a face shield. PMCs that run a pistol can decimate survivors that do not wear a shield.

6 Backroom Forklift Spawn

Spawning backroom is an exciting way to begin exploring the map. Enemy PMCs spawn close by, in the Glass Hallway or the Breach Area. PMCs that spawn in the Glass Hallway will either head toward the office, or walk east to Forklifts. This means that half of the time there will be an opponent approaching from the corridor opposite of the spawn.

The spawn point to the south has no option other than walking toward the Forklifts. These players are the best enemies to take down right after spawning in. The Glass Hallway is quite long, so gamers will probably want at least a 2x or 3x sight.

5 Glass Hallway Strategy

Tarkov Glass Hallway

The Glass Hallway spawn is has a direct route to the Office. It leads straight into the other two PMCs near Forklifts as well. The hallway itself is very narrow, so players that are pushing the Forklifts PMC will have limited cover.

Whatever option survivors choose, they will have a slight advantage over the other spawns. This is because other PMCs will not know if they are going to the Office or Forklifts.

4 The Unfortunate Tunnels Spawn

Tarkov Tunnnels

The tunnels to the east of the Office are the worst places to spawn on the map. The area is safe when spawning in, but it's difficult to travel from there to the hot zones without being heard or spotted.

There are direct routes to both the Office and Forklifts from the spawn point. Using the stairs to the north is not advised, as they make an incredible amount of noise.

3 Listen For Audio Cues

The condensed nature of factory makes audio recognition crucial on this map. Spawn campers and other PMCs will limit their movement and wait for audio to make a move.

If survivors hear anything, they should listen for both the direction of the audio and how many footsteps there are. Effective audio interpretation will allow gamers to find cover in the right area and prepare to attack oncoming PMCs.

2 Spawning South Forklifts

Players that spawn in the Breach Forklifts area will usually push the Glass and Forklifts spawn. Taking the tunnels to the west is the only other option, but it is risky in standard raids. The safest choice is to push north to the forklift in the hallway, and try to listen for enemy locations.

Running right into the Forklifts area is reckless, and will most likely get people killed. If gamers are patient, the Glass and main Forklifts PMCs will sometimes fight each other, making it easier to position and fight.

1 Entering The Office From the South

Escape From Tarkov Surprise

Gamers that spawn near the pits will want to get inside the building as quick as possible, and most common route is the entrance on the south side of the Office. By taking a direct line, PMCs will be the first to make it up the stairs in the Office.

Gate zero is another option, but it presents more threats. The rest of the Office spawns are spaced out well, and people will want to be aware of the closest spawn points and common choke points such as the entrances, exits, and stairwells in the Office.
