The Epic Games Store is currently holding a huge Summer Sale that offers up to 75% off on some of the biggest games on the PC right now. The sale is scheduled to run through until August 6th, giving players plenty of time to browse through the deals.

Headlining the Epic Games Store's Summer Sale is Remedy Entertainment's, Control. To the uninitiated, Control is one of the most critically-acclaimed games of 2019, winning various awards in several categories. The game follows the character of Jesse and the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), which is the organization tasked to contain and study supernatural phenomena. At the moment, the Epic Games Store is offering Control for the PC for the low price of $11.99, which is 50% cheaper than its standard price of $23.99

Just last month, Remedy Entertainment revealed that Control will be heading to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but a specific release date is yet to be revealed. Although a sequel to the game is still unconfirmed, a job listing posted last June that has the company looking for a Senior Producer that will be given "a key role working on Remedy's Control franchise", seems to suggest that a sequel is probably in the works. However, this job listing could also be for the PS5 version of the game, so fans waiting for a sequel should wait for the studio to make an official announcement first.

Another noteworthy PC game that is currently discounted at the Epic Games Store is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game was released last year and quickly became a smashing hit for EA, prompting rumors about the possibility of a sequel. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is currently priced at $11.99 or 50% off its current price of $23.99.

The game story takes place several years after the events of Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. It follows the journey of Jedi Cal Kestis, who is being hunted by The Empire after the fall of the Jedi Order. After its critical and commercial success, EA recently confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first game in a new franchise, suggesting that a sequel will be developed sometime in the future.
