Somewhat fitting the current Thanksgiving season, theHunter: Call of the Wild is, as it sounds, a hunting game with an atmospheric open world where players can “true-to-life” animals. Players can enjoy this game in co-op, single-player, or multiplayer, with a focus on improving skills on each of the game’s reserves. Players will need to learn which animals appear in which terrains, as well as their behaviors, traits, and movement patterns as they are hunted.

While hunting in theHunter: Call of the Wild, players will need to decide which is the best game to hunt and why, evaluating the target based on its size, symmetry, weight, plumage, and more. There are plenty of animals to keep each hunt unique too, ranging from Whitetail Deer and Canadian Geese to Black Bears and Coyotes. This variety is also met in terms of weapons and hunting options, from rifles and bows to callers and scents.

Overall, it’s a bit more tailored week on the Epic Games Store, as users will either need a retro classic game itch to scratch or a passion for the outdoors and hunting. Of course, those latter may just be preparing to go hunting, but for those who can’t, theHunter: Call of the Wild is there for them.
