The Epic Games Store reliably releases and reveals new free games every Thursday at 10am CT, with it releasing the last two free games for October 2022 today and revealing what fans can pick up between November 3 and November 10. The last two free Epic Games Store games for October 2022 include Saturnalia and Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus.

Saturnalia is a fitting release because it is an indie horror game; in fact, it's also a free day-one release on the Epic Games Store. That's not something that happens a lot, so for any horror fans, it's definitely a worthwhile pick-up. Of course, sometimes free games just don't vibe with users, and those in that boat have two different games to look forward to on November 3.

The Epic Games Store will release Filament and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on Thursday, November 3, and they will be available until November 3. Filament is an indie strategy puzzle single-player game where players must solve 300+ "complex, yet ultra-addictive puzzles" as they attempt to solve the mystery of the Alabaster. These puzzles can be mostly solved in any order, as players will need to solve these and search crew logs, records, personal items, and more to learn what the crew was doing and why they are gone now. The Alabaster is one of The Filament Corporation's flagship research vessels, yet some mysterious "complication" has left the ship locked down and its entire crew, save Juniper, missing. Juniper is the ship's pilot, and they'll assist the player in discovering what happened aboard the Alabaster.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is a tactical shooter obviously set during the Vietnam war, with a focus on gritty, brutal, and authentic approaches to weapon handling for automatic rifles, grenade launchers, and other modern weapon systems. There are six different armies within the game, each with their unique weapons and abilities, and these include the United States Army, the Marine Corps, the North Vietnamese Army, the National Liberation Front, the Australian Army, and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. Using these, players can find themselves in huge 64-player battles with 50 weapons, 5 flyable helicopters, asymmetric warfare befitting the faction's capabilities, 20 maps, 3 game modes, proximity VOIP, and much more.

If these still don't float a user's boat, then the Epic Games Store will reveal the new games for November 10 when these release on November 3. That's worth keeping in mind, in this case.

Epic Games Store users get a handful of free games every month.
