Every Thursday, the Epic Games Store updates its list of free game offerings, giving users a new batch of titles to add to their digital libraries while simultaneously pulling the curtain back on what's coming next week. Since Epic Games Store free games are available a week at a time, the launcher has technically revealed the first freebies that users will get to claim in December 2021.

First off, there are three Epic Games Store free games available for users to claim right now. From now until November 25 at 10:00am CT, Epic Games Store users can claim Guild of Dungeoneering, KID A MNESIA EXHIBITION, and Never Alone. Out of those, Never Alone is arguably the headliner, as it won multiple awards at the time of its original release a few years ago, but all three games are completely free anyway, so Epic Games Store users should make sure to add them all to their collection.

The Gems are also used to unlock Antstream's turn-based PvP mode against friends or randoms online.

Meanwhile, theHunter: Call of the Wild is a hunting game experience that is making its debut on the Epic Games Store as a free game. It released a few years ago and while it didn't exactly earn the highest review scores, it has found a dedicated fanbase within its niche. It's one of the more relevant hunting games to have released these last few years, so fans of the genre should definitely consider giving it a go when it's free on the Epic Games Store next week.

December is an especially interesting month for the Epic Games Store, as the service has had advent calendar mystery games in the past, counting down through the holidays and the new year. It's possible that something similar will happen this year, though specific plans haven't been announced. Fans will likely have to wait until December 2 rolls around, if not a week after that, to find out if the special Epic Games Store holiday promotion is returning.
