The Epic Games Store has updated its selection of free games while also confirming a free game for next week. Every Thursday at 10am CT, the Epic Games Store updates its selection of free games while confirming to users what they can expect next, and that's no different with the latest offerings. Typically, the Epic Games Store gives its users two free games to claim each week, but there's a bonus freebie this week.

From now until November 24 at 10am CT, Epic Games Store users can claim Dark Deity and Evil Dead: The Game, along with the Epic Cheerleader Pack for the Rumbleverse battle royale. Dark Deity is an indie game inspired by Nintendo's Fire Emblem strategy franchise, whereas Evil Dead: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer title where players play as characters from the Evil Dead horror franchise.

The Rumbleverse Epic Cheerleader Pack, Dark Deity, and Evil Dead: The Game will all be available until November 24, at which point they will be replaced by Star Wars: Squadrons. Star Wars: Squadrons was developed by EA's Motive studio, which is currently working on the Dead Space remake. Star Wars: Squadrons first released in 2020 to mostly positive reviews, though some weren't impressed by its general lack of content compared to bigger games. However, getting it for free may alleviate any concerns one would normally have about the game being somewhat low on content.

Epic Games Store Free Games for November 2022

epic games store free games november 2022-1
  • Rumbleverse Epic Cheerleader Pack (November 17 - November 24)
  • Dark Deity (November 17 - November 24)
  • Evil Dead: The Game (November 17 - November 24)
  • Star Wars Squadrons (November 24 - December 1)

While the Epic Games Store usually gives away two free games every week, it seems that Star Wars: Squadrons will be the only free game for the week of November 24 to December 1. That being said, it's always possible that there will be an unexpected free game or other perk for users to claim when November 24 rolls around. After all, there was some confusion with the current Epic Games Store free games where the store wasn't properly displaying all the free content, though it doesn't seem anything like that is happening with Star Wars: Squadrons.

As for the free game or games that will replace Star Wars: Squadrons, they remain to be seen. However, it's possible that the Epic Games Store mystery games promotion will be brought back, where players are treated to new free games daily advent calendar-style. Plans to that effect have not been announced at the time of this writing, however.
