With Jurassic Park: Evolution being claimable for free on the Epic Games Store for the last week, the storefront has cycled out the dinosaur-focused park builder for a new game. This time around, players will be able to get their hands on Crying Suns, with the new game currently available to redeem on the marketplace.

The game will be available from today until January 14 at 8 AM PT, at which time it will be replaced by next week's game, Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration EditionAs for Crying Suns, the game is a sci-fi rogue-lite developed by Alt Shift and published by Humble Bundle, with the game originally debuting back in 2019.

As for what players do in the game, the core concept centers around a space fleet exploring a mysteriously fallen empire. As the protagonist of the game, players assume the role of the fleet's commander, instructing their battalion of ships as they navigate across a procedurally generated universe. Each run will bring with it a range of varying story events that uncover more of the game's mysteries, meaning no two playthroughs of Crying Suns are ever the same.

The Epic Games Store has been having quite the run as of late, recently holding its 15 Days of Free Games holiday event where it gave away titles like Alien: Isolation, Inside, Night in the Woods, and Stranded Deep. Next week's game, Star Wars Battlefront 2, is one of its biggest yet, with the blockbuster release sure to see a surge of players access the Epic Games Store to claim the title.
