Until August 11, Epic Games Store will be giving away Unrailed!, a co-op railroad construction game with zany twists and turns. Fans should be in for some fun and wild moments with this game, but perhaps even its zaniest moments don't compare to the general concept of the next Epic Games Store title.

On August 11, Epic Games Store users will be able to claim Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!, which is a funny enough title. It may lead fans to think it's a simple cooking simulator, but it's a bit more than that. Genre blending games are often popular, but there are certain things that go together better than others. Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! isn't necessarily a post-apocalyptic game, but it's set in a war-torn America where players take over a food truck after their restaurant is blown up. War is a common element explored in video games, so is cooking, but combining the two is something few games have done. And Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! sets itself apart by combining them with some solid gameplay features, too.

Battlefield 2042 posits an American disaster in that year, so too does Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!. Because of this and the destruction of the restaurant, the player decides it's best to stay on the move and operates a food truck in the war-torn land. This translates to the speed of the game, which is designed to focus on fast-paced cooking action where players must cook hundreds of foods in an all-new story drive campaign. It can be reduced, though, thanks to the game's chill mode and a host of accessibility options, including motion, strobe, audio, and colorblind features, plus more.

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! is also yet another free co-op game on Epic Games Store, meaning fans who love some local co-op are getting a fun treat too. This is especially true because the game doesn't skimp on the meats; that's to say there are 380 levels, consisting of hundreds of hours of gameplay. And while America is torn apart by war, the food truck is upgraded to reflect that, with modules that impact gameplay, a food catalog with hundreds of unique foods to the franchise, and a customizable food truck. Players are able to customize it based on the destruction in America, and other food trucks follow suit (and may shoot at the player, even).

It's a unique genre blend of war and food, and for Epic Games Store users, it's one that should be hard to pass up.

Epic Games Store users get a handful of free games every month.
