One of the few kinds of equipment that players have available to them in the somber yet beautiful world of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights are Relics. These aging items range from old books to rings, vials of liquid, bits of ornamental treasure, and much more.

And like their diverse appearances, their functions also greatly vary, meaning that some are more situationally useful while others hold long-term practicality. They can only be equipped at Respites, so be sure to plan ahead, as players cannot swap out Relics on the fly.

Furthermore, gamers only have a certain number of slots for equipping Relics in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, so they must choose their loadout wisely to make the most out of every situation in this challenging game. Though, thankfully, players can increase the number of open slots by finding Chains of Sorcery around the desolate, rain-soaked world.

The very best Relics are the ones that provide benefits in every situation to either increase damage output or enhance one's survivability in some way. Be sure to keep an eye out for these on one's travels through Land's End if the player wants a more satisfying playthrough of Ender Lilies.

Updated on September 29, 2021, by Reyadh Rahaman: Due to the limited number of slots, players will need to choose their Relics wisely for optimal usage. There are low and high-slot-cost Relics that are worth equipping, however, it can be a bit tricky to gauge which effects are the most useful. A great rule of thumb when deciding on which Relics to equip is whether or not it provides a usable bonus, which will require players to try them out. Though, there are some key things to look for, such as if the damage output of an offensive Relic is useful in killing enemies quicker, if the buff gained from a defensive Relic allows one to live longer, and if the unique effects granted by special Relics will be genuinely usable against foes.

8 Fretia's Ring

ender lilies quietus of the knights fretias ring relic

What Fretia's Ring Does

This ring grants the ability to parry incoming regular attacks from enemies. When an incoming attack gets parried, the damage gets nullified and the attacker also loses a lot of stamina as a result, making it far easier to break a foe's guard and stun them.

Fretia's Ring does not require any Relic slots to be equipped, as it has a slot cost of 0. As it is free to equip, there's no reason not to do so since its only effect is beneficial.

Where To Find Fretia's Ring

This Relic will be hard to miss, as it is located in the same room as a Respite on the border of the Cliffside Hamlet and the Catacombs. From the Cliffside Hamlet, take the lower path while heading to the right through each screen until one finds an underwater path. Swim to the right until one enters a room that requires exiting the water to continue. In the stretch of land next to where one exits the water, players will find Fretia's Ring on the ground.

7 Ancient Dragon Claw

What The Ancient Dragon Claw Does

Despite only slightly raising one's attack, and only while in the air, the Ancient Dragon Claw is one of the best early game Relics in Ender Lilies due to how much time players will spend off of the ground. Jumping is an excellent way to maneuver quickly and evade incoming attacks, so pairing such natural movements with a bonus to attack of any kind can only be useful.

This necklace made from the claw of a mighty yet reclusive dragon only costs 2 slots to equip, meaning that its always-useful boon won't be too difficult to make room for in one's Relic inventory.

Where To Find The Ancient Dragon Claw

Within the right tower of the Twin Spires, players will ascend to eventually find the Mourning Hall Respite. After resting, head back down to find this Relic.

In the screen just below this will be a chest guarded by a wall-eye enemy that regularly emits a damaging reddish-purple field of energy.

6 Royal Aegis Crest

relic found in the ruined castle that grants more max hp.

What The Royal Aegis Crest Does

When equipped (requires 2 slots), this Relic raises Lily's maximum HP by 10%. This may not seem like much, but, after time, as one's HP bar grows through other means, this 10% will grow proportionately and offers greater and greater max HP bonuses as one progresses through the game.

Furthermore, the bonus to max HP from the Royal Aegis Crest is greater than the damage reduction of the defensive Relics (Like the Broken Music Box or the Cracked Familiar Stone), meaning that it is better to equip this one over them.

Where To Find The Royal Aegis Crest

From the Guest Chambers Respite in the Ruined Castle area, head left to find the large room where this Relic can be found. Proceed left and drop down the very first pit with a rope. At the bottom, there will be an elevator to ride upward to reach the top section.

From there, head left past a weak soldier enemy until one finds a gap. Across this gap will be a chamber that will lock behind Lily after she enters and will spawn a fast knight and a large knight to fight. Defeat them so that one can open the chest on the far left of the room, within which is the Royal Aegis Crest.

5 Decayed Crown

relic that boosts stun damage found in the ruined castle area.

What The Decayed Crown Does

Stunning can be a great tactic to take advantage of if players prefer the heavier yet slower kinds of melee attacks, such as using the main skills of the spirit Gerrod with his massive mace or the spirit Guardian Silva's hard-hitting hammer. The Decayed Crown is the best way to increase one's stunning power in Ender Lilies, though it will require 3 slots to equip.

In the early and middle parts of Ender Lilies, enemies are particularly susceptible to stun damage, which can allow players to take out tougher foes easier as they stand dazed and unable to attack. However, toward the end of the game, it is recommended to focus more on hitting the enemies' HP instead, as end-game foes are quite resilient to stun damage.

Where To Find The Decayed Crown

This symbol of the king was lost, though did not travel far from the castle of the monarch it once belonged to in Land's End. In the Ruined Castle area, head to the Maelstrom Ramparts Respite and then head left to the ledge.

Jump down, but hug the right wall and one will land on a flagpole bearing a glowing object, which will be the Decayed Crown.

4 Giant's Ring

relic that raises attack while on ground found in the cliffside hamlet area.

What The Giant's Ring Does

As the first damage-increasing Relic that it is possible to find in the game, the Giant's Ring will make all ground-based fights in the early and middle part of the game easier, just be sure to open up 2 slots for this Relic.

Make sure to avoid jumping before attacking, as this will nullify the effect of this Relic. The Giant's Ring will eventually be outclassed by late-game Relics, but, until then, it will be the best way to passively increase one's damage output in Ender Lilies.

Where To Find The Giant's Ring

From the Crossroads Respite in the White Parish area, travel to the right and go uphill toward the upper path. The next screen will be filled with enemies, so make one's way carefully to the right until one finds a section with a couple of platforms that hold enemies and a ledge on the right.

Just below this ledge, near a bloodstain in the background, will be a way down if one crouches and goes through the wooden floor. This will cause one to fall into the cavern below, which will contain a red flower next to some water. Jump into the water to find a chest at the bottom that contains the Giant's Ring.

3 Holy Spring Water

relic that lets the player heal more.

What The Holy Spring Water Does

This benevolent Relic allows Lily to recover 25% more HP when using her Healing Prayer, which can be greatly helpful in every situation where the player will need to heal (most of the game).

As it only takes up 1 slot, the Holy Spring Water is an excellent Relic in Ender Lilies to slap into any build for an always-useful boon.

Where To Find The Holy Spring Water

In the Catacombs area, start from the Ossuary Respite and travel down into the room below. This screen will contain lots of spider enemies, underwater tentacles, and a hard-to-spot waterfall. Go right and make one's way almost to the end of the screen, where one will find a sneaky waterfall that Lily can swim up.

At the apex of this waterfall, jump right to get to the ledge leading out of this screen. In the next chamber, the player will need to drop down to confront a monstrosity spewing slime. Defeat it to open the locked door on the right, past which will be some simple jumps that lead uphill to a glowing item representing the Holy Spring Water.

2 Blighted Appendage

powerful relic that increases damage found in the verboten domain.

What The Blighted Appendage Does

Out of all the Relics that passively increase damage output in Ender Lilies, the Blighted Appendage is by far the best even though it takes up 3 slots.

Not only is there no condition for the effect to activate, like with the Giant's Ring or Ancient Dragon Claw, the Blighted Appendage also grants a bigger boon. When equipped, this Relic increases the damage of all of Lily's attacks by slightly over 7%.

Where To Find The Blighted Appendage

Be ready to traverse an absolutely nightmarish area if one wants this powerful Relic. From the Subterranean Lab B3 Respite, head right into a toxic-fog-filled screen that will become very familiar here in the Verboten Domain. Proceed cautiously down into the room below this one while being wary of all the tough enemies. While in this chamber, keep heading as much to the right as possible while descending, though, be warned, as there are tons of monstrosities with high health here and beyond.

After making one's way to the right, to the next room, keep traveling right, which should take Lily past 2 crawling monstrosities. Beyond the right of 2nd crawling monstrosity will be a hallway will a poison sac enemy hanging from the ceiling and one of the aggressive warped humanoids. Just below this will be another hallway with 2 ranged variants of the warped humanoid enemies and a chest, which will house the Blighted Appendage.

1 Weathered Necklace

relic that heals the player after each kill found in the verboten domain area.

What The Weathered Necklace Does

Upon slaying a foe, the Weathered Necklace will restore 6% of Lily's HP. With all the enemies rushing towards the player at any given time, this Relic will allow one to use weaker foes as quick and easy mini-heals while traveling the treacherous landscape.

Additionally, there are a couple of tough boss fights where minions will get continuously summoned to back up the powerful adversary. With the Weathered Necklace equipped (requires only 2 slots), these usually disadvantageous situations can become far less hazardous as the pesky minions now offer potential healing instead of simply being nuisances.

Where To Find The Weathered Necklace

Once more, for one of the most powerful Relics, players will have to delve into the deadly Verboten Domain. However, the player must start from the final Respite in the Witch's Thicket, Subterranean Lab B1, and then take the elevator down. In the screen below, keep heading down and to the left before exiting past one of the melee warped humanoid enemies.

In the room beyond, head left until on reaches a drop before leaping to the closest platform underneath the ledge. Then, keep to the right as high up as possible until one reaches what will seem to be a wall. At the top of this right wall is actually a secret area, so jump up and dash here to find it and the chest possessing the Weathered Necklace.
