With overflowing content seen all over social media, Disney's recent animated film Encanto seems to have taken both the online and offline world by storm. Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons is not exempt from this enchanting phenomenon, with players already creating custom designs based on the film. Now, a hardcore player put in the hard work to recreate some of the most iconic scenes from the movie, making use of familiar Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters and video game elements.
A lot of the life sim title's fans have a penchant for recreating movie and TV series scenes, especially now that the Animal Crossing: New Horizons free 2.0 update adds additional camera options. What's more, the ACNH Happy Home Paradise DLC provides additional customization options, new villagers, activities, and in-game items that fans can utilize. This makes content creation for the video game almost virtually endless, as long as the players keep their creative juices flowing. Some have made simple adjustments such as a room design, while others make use of all their options and come up with elaborate content like the Encanto recreation.
Uploading their original video on YouTube, user Th3meow喵喵 playfully utilized everything Animal Crossing: New Horizons has to offer in their Encanto footage. Of course, the video will not start without the film's iconic leading character, Mirabel Madrigal, and she is shown entering La Casita, the Madrigal's family home. From then on, a slideshow of both videos and photos are shown, with Th3meow喵喵 recreating popular scenes from Encanto such as Mirabel's mother healing sick villagers like in the movie, Luisa and Isabel's featured songs, and more. All of which showcased each character in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons form.
The video has already garnered more than 1.8 million views and 44,000 thumbs-up on YouTube. Both ACNH and Encanto fans shared positive sentiments, with many commenting how much they enjoyed the content. Others even went so far as to put in a request for the artist to make a Frozen-themed video as well. Th3meow喵喵 was also generous to those who replied on their comment section, especially when one requested for the custom design QR codes that they used to dress the Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters.
With Disney's Encanto only just being released, Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans should expect more content from the movie to pop up within the community. Hopefully they will also be as well-received as Th3meow喵喵 incredibly detailed recreation of the movie's popular scenes.
