Elder Scrolls Online traditionally holds special events every year commemorating past DLC - the Daedric War Celebration is one of these holidays, which commemorates the Morrowind Chapter, the Clockwork City DLC, and the Summerset Chapter with unique rewards, event-themed activities, and special overworld modifiers that encourage players to revisit these locations.

The Daedric War, of course, was the two-year-long Elder Scrolls Online storyline that began in 2017 with the Morrowind Chapter and culminated with the Summerset chapter, with the Clockwork City DLC nestled in between. The 2022 Daedric War Celebration runs from January 20th to February 1st, 2022 - a total of 13 in-game days to take part in this event and earn its unique rewards.

How To Get Daedric War Celebration Event Tickets

ESO Daedric War Celebration Scales of Akatosh Skin

Event Tickets for all Elder Scrolls Online holidays are used to purchase specific rewards from the event Impresario, typically found outside the gates of most major cities. Event Tickets for the Daedric War Celebration can be earned in two ways: completing Morrowind and Clockwork City dailies, and completing Summerset dailies.

  • Morrowind dailies: Ashlander and Morag Tong dailies are found in Ald'ruhn north of Balmora and in the Temple Canton of Vivec, respectively. Complete the quest "Ancestral Ties" in Ald'ruhn to access Ashlander dailies. No pre-requisite quest is required for Morag Tong dailies.
  • Clockwork City dailies: All four dailies are found in the Brass Fortress, either in Slag Town or inside the Fortress itself. Complete the quest "Lost in the Gloam" to unlock all dailies.
  • Summerset dailies: All three dailies are found in the city of Alinor, either in Rinmawen's Plaza or outside the Alinor Royal Palace. No pre-requisite quest is required for these dailies.

Players can get up to two Event Tickets each day, one from Morrowind or Clockwork City dailies, and the other from Summerset dailies. Unfortunately it's impossible to get both from just one zone, so be prepared to do the intro quest for each DLC if it hasn't already been completed. Because the event lasts for 13 days, a total of 26 Event Tickets can be acquired.

Daedric War Event Ticket Rewards

Event Tickets are used to purchase special rewards from the Impresario, who offers select items for each in-game holiday. For the Daedric War Celebration, the Impresario offers a variety of new items including a new Pet and the chance to start building a rare skin. While the exact prices of these aren't known, it's typically possible to get the major rewards over the event's duration.

  • Every Soulfire Dragon Ilusion fragment, which combine to form a new Non-combat Pet
  • The Aureate Anointing Oils, the first fragment of the Scales of Akatosh skin
  • Evergloam Champion weapon motifs
  • Gloam Gryphon Fledgling Non-combat Pet
  • Group Repair Kits

Daedric War Spoils Boxes In 2022

ESO Daedric War Celebration Soulfire Gloam Gryphon Pet

A Daedric War Spoils Box contains a variety of possible rewards and can be earned during the event in a number of ways. Every event in ESO offers a version of this box, though the rewards are specific to the event, so you won't get Jester Festival items in a Daedric War box.

The rewards from each Spoils Box is completely random, though they generally include cosmetics, crafting materials, and event-themed fragments which can later be combined into one-of-a-kind items.

Earning Daedric War Spoils Boxes

The main way players will receive their boxes is by completing quests and killing mobs in Morrowind, the Clockwork City, or the Summerset Isles. They can also be earned by completing Daily Quests in each zone. The first Daedric War Spoils Box earned from a Daily quest each day will be "Glorious" and have a much higher chance of dropping rare rewards.

  • Finishing the Daedric War Celebration intro quest, normal Quests, and Daily Quests
  • Completing Delves and slaying both regular enemies and World Bosses
  • Opening Chests and Boxes throughout each zone, including Psijic Portals, Thieves Troves, and even crafting material nodes
  • Closing Abyssal Geysers in Summerset
  • Killing bosses in the Asylum Sanctorum, the Cloudrest Trials, or the Halls of Fabrication Trials

Daedric War Spoils Box Rewards

There are a number of rewards that can drop from a Daedric War Spoils Box, varying in rarity from common crafting materials to extremely rare Motifs and Pet fragments. The first one earned from a Daily quest each day has a higher chance to drop rare goods like Pet fragments or style motifs, so be sure to complete at least one for both this improved Spoils Box and an Event Ticket.

  • Style Pages: Evergloam Champion (weapon) and Snowhawk Mage (armor)
  • Runeboxes: Slag Town Diver skin, and Thetys Ramarrys's Bait Kit
  • Pet Pieces: Microtized Verminous Fabricant fragments and Gloam Gryphon Fledgling runebox

Other Bonuses During The Daedric War Celebration 2022

ESO Summerset

In addition to the Event Ticket rewards and the Daedric War Spoils Box contents, there are a number of other bonuses that players can benefit from during the Daedric War Celebration. These bonuses only affect the Vvardenfell, Clockwork City, and Summerset zones, so don't go looking around Glenumbra or the Stonefalls for harvest nodes and World Bosses.

The event is a chapter-based event, so like other DLC commemoration holidays, players can expect to receive these rewards. Events like Midyear Mayhem and the Witches Festival offer bonuses like XP gain and PvP boosts, but the Daedric War Celebration is mostly concerned with loot and other material rewards.

  • Reward Boxes for Dailies in each zone (not counting the Daedric War Spoils Box) are doubled
  • Harvest nodes grant double crafting materials (except for Fishing Holes)
  • World Bosses, Delve Bosses, and Trial Bosses drop more loot during the event
  • Public Dungeons in Vvardenfell and Clockwork City have a small chance to drop Doctrine Ordinator outfit style pages
  • Final bosses in Asylum Sanctorum and the Halls of Fabrication Trials will always drop Doctrine Ordinator outfit style pages
