After these fans have selected one of The Elder Scrolls: Blades' best races, they will begin to encounter challenge missions, which grant bonuses upon their completion. One such challenge asks players to achieve a three hit combo, and some may be lost on exactly how to execute this feat.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades: How to Get a Three Hit Combo
While some players may initially be confused about how to get a three hit combo in The Elder Scrolls: Blades' early access, it is actually quite simple with a bit of instruction. Likely, these players are finding that they can perform two consecutive swings, and then their combo ends.
This is because performing combos of more than two hits requires players to alternate their swings — hitting from one side, and then the other, and then back again to the first side. So, to perform a three hit combo players should hold a finger against the right side of the screen and release to swing from the right, then hold a finger against the left side of the screen and release to swing from the left, and then repeat once again on the right side of the screen to finish the combo.
To note, combos can be extended for more than three hits in The Elder Scrolls: Blades simply by continuing this sort of alternation. That said, there are a number of things that can interrupt this type of multi-hit assault. Specifically, any of the following will put an immediate end to a player's combo:
- Hitting an opponent's shield
- Missing an opponent
- Taking damage of any kind
