From the warrior-like build of the Nords to the stealthy humanoid cat people known as the Khajits, The Elder Scrolls is well known for its range of customizable characters. One other such is the rather high and mighty Altmer, or High Elf, whose snobbery is matched only by their skills in spell casting as well as golden complexion. Now a Reddit user has recently uploaded several pictures of themselves in a custom-made Altmer cosplay outfit which can only be described as stunning.

Uploading her images yesterday to the Elder Scrolls subreddit, user u/sumicosplay has been able to show off the impressively detailed High Elf attire which has been designed after The Elder Scrolls Online series. The six images show the incredible detail and effort that has clearly been put into the cosplay, and with the photos touched up by imaging software, each one gives a fantastical look to the whole set.

Cosplay is something of a mainstay for fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise, with the epic fantasy simply teeming with potential. While the Altmer outfit is certainly excellently made and instantly recognizable to the fan base, one of the game's most iconic aspects is the Daedric armor set. For those who are not familiar with games like Skyrim, Daedric armor is one of the most powerful sets available in the game, featuring a high rating and a dark, almost black, color scheme.

Of course, creating custom outfits is not the only way for gamers to show their love of all things Elder Scrolls. Recently, a Skyrim fan displayed their artistic talents by uploading an image of themselves holding a painting they'd done depicting Talos as a statue. Talos is the hero-god of the series and, just like Daedric armor, is an iconic element in the world of Tamriel.

As Elder Scrolls fans wait to hear more news about the next game in the series, fans such as u/sumicosplay can still show both their passion for the series as well as their creativity. The mystery of where the Elder Scrolls 6 will be set still rages on, and Bethesda is seemingly putting a lot of effort into its next game, Starfield. So, while more and more fans begin to pour their heart out about their love of the open-world epic, all people can do is keep creating until official word is announced about the next installment. And even then, the cosplay outfits will probably still keep coming.

Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One, while Elder Scrolls 6 is currently still in development.
