Earlier this year, Elden Ring hit shelves and digital storefronts across the world. As of this writing, the game is the fastest-selling Bandai Namco game of all time, having moved 13.4 million copies worldwide by March. The game was also highly praised by critics and, like other FromSoftware games, Elden Ring has quickly amassed a passionate fandom.
Like FromSoftware's Dark Souls games, Elden Ring is famous for its high difficulty and depressing setting. However, like Dark Souls, it's a game that fans cannot seem to get enough of. Since the game was released, fans have created their own art and tributes to the game. One, for example, imagined what Elden Ring would look like if it crossed over with Warhammer 40K. Other tributes range from drawings to woodburn maps to keycaps. Another impressive type of tribute, however, involves LEGO bricks.
In the past, fans have posted LEGO versions of the game's characters and locations. One Elden Ring fan created Malenia out of LEGOs with some basic human pieces and accessories. One fan, however, opted to take their LEGO tribute even further. In a recent post, a Reddit user under the name HoboSapient created their own LEGO recreation of one of the Walking Mausoleums from the game with an impressive amount of detail.

In the past, Elden Ring fans have created LEGO figures similar to the one of Malenia, but few have the same level of devotion as the LEGO Walking Mausoleum. The images from HoboSapient show the figure at multiple angles, showing off little details like the flowers running up the side and even showing a human figure for size comparison. It was speculated in the comments that the LEGO Walking Mausoleum was healed together by Gorilla Glue.
In Elden Ring, the Walking Mausoleum are giant creatures that resemble turtles and wander around the game's world. The creatures were revealed in the first Elden Ring gameplay trailer and were notable for having bells on their undersides. Similar to bosses in Shadow of the Colossus, players have to hit them in key weak spots with gray skulls in order to make them accessible. In the Walking Mausoleums player are able to reuse remembrances of one of the demi-gods in the game in order to get an alternate reward that was offered to them. The Walking Mausoleums, however, can only be used for this once before the player must find another one.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
