Talismans in Elden Ring are used to give the player a buff while equipped, ranging in effect from increased resistances to increased damage output and everything in between. The Twinblade Talisman is a melee-oriented Talisman that is useful for fast builds in Elden Ring, but not worth using in slow builds.

Funnily enough, it seems to be most powerful when used alongside a Twinblade, though multiple different types of Elden Ring weapons with a fast Light attack chain will benefit from this Talisman all the same.

What Does The Twinblade Talisman Do?

Elden Ring How To Two Hand Weapons Guide Sorcerer Twinblade
  • "The twinblade technique is a tradition of the Confessors, who closely guard the secret of how they preserve the momentum of their attacks. Thus, the final strike of their onslaught is all the more deadly."

Twinblades deal small bits of damage while swinging and culminate in a much stronger strike at the end of the chain. As such, the Twinblade Talisman makes the final hit in a chain of attacks much more powerful. However, because it's easy to be interrupted in the middle of a chain, players have found this Talisman to be a bit underwhelming.

When used alongside a weapon that swings quickly, like a Dagger, or one that can't be parried, like a Flail, the Twinblade Talisman's effect is seen much more often. It's also powerful when used on Claw-type weapons, as the fast Light attack chain is one of the best in Elden Ring.

Where To Find The Twinblade Talisman

The Twinblade Talisman is found in Castle Morne, specifically in a tower behind the Castle. Make your way to Castle Morne in south Limgrave, go to the alcove behind the Demi-Human bonfire, and climb the ladder upwards. Head across the bridge, killing the Demi-Humans in your way, and look below the stone walls for a Site of Lost Grace.

This is the Behind the Castle Site of Grace. From here, look along the cliffs below to find a safe way down. There is a bridge here with a number of groveling Demi-Humans. Ignore them and head to the tower on the other side of the bridge where a large tower rises. Kill the large Demi-Human here, then look for another ladder in the nearby tower leading up. Ascend this tower, open the chest at the top, and you will find the Twinblade Talisman inside.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
