A dedicated Elden Ring player shared a photo of their amazing gaming feat: playing FromSoftware's latest hit on a movie theater screen. The massive screen, filled with the game's logo, is one of the largest possible screens to play the game on, and it is incredibly cool looking and a testament to their love of the game. Elden Ring has amassed an incredible fan following since its release earlier this year, which shows no signs of slowing down as the calendar approaches 2023.

FromSoftware fans are constantly finding new ways to achieve amazing in-game feats, such as a recent Elden Ring player beating Malenia without taking a single hit, or the story of a streamer that beat the Dark Souls games with a Guitar Hero controller. Unlockable achievements and trophies can not compare to the creativity, skill, and ingenuity shown by the dedicated fan base cultivated over years of incredibly punishing, but rewarding, games. While gaming on a gigantic screen does not require the same skill as a perfect run, the end result is still very cool.

Posted to Reddit, user SuperSloth07 proudly showed off their gaming achievement, with Elden Ring fans showing their support through a thousand upvotes. An end game boss, Malenia is one of the many fan favorite enemies, especially since she wields a sword in Elden Ring larger than Sephiroth's, so it is no surprise that SuperSloth07's first move was to try and conquer the villain. Gaming on a large screen with crystal clear surround sound goes beyond enjoying the game as it was meant to be played, this is creating a new standard for what is possible.

Ambilight TV monitors increase the spectacular visuals in Elden Ring, but as any modern cinephile will say, immersive sound is the largest advantage theaters have over home entertainment systems. SuportSloth07 explained in the comments of their post that renting out the Queensland, Australia theater was an incredible experience, and yes, the sound was one of the best parts. When pressed by curious fans, the price of this experience was revealed to have been $300 AUD, or roughly the equivalent of 30 adult tickets.

Theater companies, including national chains, often rent out individual theaters to interested groups for activities ranging from church groups, private film screenings, and even Summer camps. The experience of gaming on such a large screen, with little lag according toSuperSloth07's report, could be a new bucket-list item for gamers. Just think of all the horrible things possible in Elden Ring, but done on a screen 30 feet wide with professional level surround sound.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
