Elden Ring is FromSoftware's biggest and boldest game to date. With over 100 bosses to find lurking throughout the Lands Between, there's plenty of variety in their design and mechanics. FromSoftware's previous game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was also praised for its unique boss design and fast-paced combat.

With samurai being a starting class in Elden Ring, it's no surprise that there are lots of bosses and enemies that look like they'd fit right into Sekiro's depiction of Ashina (their version of ancient Japan). If Sekiro ever gets a sequel, hopefully, some of these Elden Ring bosses could find their way into that world.

5 Mimic Tear

Mimic Tear is an Elden Ring boss that can be found in multiple places but it is first encountered in Nokron, The Eternal City. It is a very unique boss in that it copies the equipment, abilities, and appearance of the player's character. It makes for a fun and interesting boss fight that gives you a glimpse of what it would be like to fight yourself. In Sekiro, many bosses are swordsmen like yourself, but there aren't any that directly copy everything you can do.

Father Owl is the closest fans get to a boss that can do everything they can but his large size and surprising tricks make him a little different from Sekiro. A true copycat boss in Sekiro would make for a great addition because it would force players to adapt to all the different prosthetic equipment and abilities they've learned throughout the game. Sekiro fighting a version of himself would make for a truly epic fight that would certainly challenge most players.

4 Red Wolf Of Radagon

The Red Wolf of Radagon can be found in Elden Ring at the Raya Lucaria Academy. It is a giant red wolf that can conjure a sword in its mouth to attack the player. Clearly inspired by Sif from Dark Souls (another giant wolf with a sword), the Red Wolf makes for an exciting and aggressive fight. This boss would fit well into Sekiro because the name Sekiro literally means one-armed wolf. With a protagonist named after a wolf, you'd think there would be at least one wolf boss.

Red Wolf of Radagon is extremely aggressive like the bosses in Sekiro, which is why he can be difficult for the ranged users in Elden Ring to deal with. His fast attacks and sword usage would also fit well into Sekiro's parry system. FromSoftware clearly loves wolves, so it would've been nice to see Sekiro have a boss inspired by them.

3 Godfrey, First Elden Lord (Hoarah Loux)

Godfrey, The First Elden Lord is one of the final bosses in Elden Ring and is quickly becoming a fan favorite. He is a massive man that wields a giant ax and has a spectral lion attached to him. He begins the fight with slow and powerful attacks with his ax that are incredibly deadly. After losing 50% of his health, he decides to drop the ax (and the lion) to become the warrior known as Hoarah Loux. In this phase, he's much faster and uses a lot of grab attacks.

His deep lore and western appearance wouldn't quite fit into Sekiro, but his actual boss mechanics would be perfect. Sekiro would have to learn to parry his ax attacks in his first phase and then learn to dodge his grabs in the second. This is how a lot of bosses in Sekiro are designed, which is why he'd make for a nice addition.

2 Commander Niall

Commander Niall Elden Ring

Commander Niall is a late-game Elden Ring boss that is found in Castle Sol at the Mountaintops of the Giants. He is a humanoid boss that wields a halberd and is accompanied by two Spectral Banished Knights. For most of the fight, he is fairly docile until his knights are defeated, and he becomes significantly more aggressive. Trying to manage against three enemies at once is what makes this fight a challenge. In Sekiro, there aren't many boss fights that require you to fight multiple enemies at once, which is why he could be a nice change of pace if he was added to that game.

Also, Sekiro has no summons, so fighting three on one would certainly make sure the difficulty that players love is there. His western appearance may not fit well in Sekiro's world but slap some Japanese armor on him and change his knights to samurai, and suddenly he'd make a perfect fit.

1 Malenia Blade Of Miquella

Malenia is no doubt the most infamous boss in Elden Ring. Millions of players have died to her extremely difficult boss fight. Wielding a prosthetic arm and katana just like Sekiro, Malenia attacks with unmatched speed and ferocity. Her waterfowl dance attack is so incredibly fast that it's almost impossible to dodge. Malenia is a boss that seems so perfect for Sekiro that she almost feels out of place in Elden Ring. Her speed and attack pattern would work perfectly with Sekiro's parry mechanic. Similar to how the Demon of Hatred feels like a Dark Souls boss that slipped its way into Sekiro, Malenia feels like a Sekiro boss that found her way into Elden Ring.

Elden Ring and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice are available now on PC, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
