An Elden Ring fan has discovered a summon build based around the Sylvester Stallone character, Rocky Balboa. The player discovered the unique build and laughed that it existed while a commenter revealed how it was created. It is one of many unique Elden Ring original characters that have graced the internet.

Last year, FromSoftware's latest game hit store shelves and digital storefronts and was met with high sales and critical praise. Elden Ring would eventually beat The Last Of Us Part 2's Game of the Year awards record and has sold over 17 million copies worldwide. A favorite pastime of the game's dedicated fans is to share unique builds of their various characters who often resemble protagonists and villains from other franchises.

In the past, Elden Ring fans have created builds based on Zeus and Darth Maul from the Star Wars franchise. More recently, Reddit user Dilim_Kek discovered a summon character based on Rocky Balboa. One of the commenters seemed to think that it was their character, revealing that the chest armor was a modified version of the Gravekeeper Cloak, which gave the build his bare-chested appearance. Furthermore, the gauntlets were of the Bull-Goat build and the "boxing gloves" were made up of the Iron Ball melee weapon, and the character was loaded with buffs and faith. According to the user, it was ultimately quite effective in the game.

Sylvester Stallone's Rocky franchise started all the way back in 1976 and turned the then-unknown actor into a superstar. The original Rocky was a film that both established and subverted the underdog sports film and is one of the most influential movies ever made. Five direct sequels of varying quality followed its release from the 70s through the mid-2000s. A sequel series, titled Creed, began in 2015 and focused on Rocky mentoring his one-time rival's son to live up to his father's legacy. Another spinoff is currently in development based around Rocky 4 and Creed 2 antagonist Ivan Drago and his son, Viktor Drago. Now it appears that some Rocky fans are also fans of the Elden Ring franchise.

As of this writing, it's not clear what the developer has in store for Elden Ring. While DLC for Elden Ring is on every fan's mind, FromSoftware is currently hard at work on the upcoming game Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. It is not clear if the development of the long-awaited sequel will take priority over any Elden Ring DLC. What is clear, however, is that so long as the game maintains its fanbase, players will continue to create builds based on their favorite movie characters.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
