Among the many spells in Elden Ring, exist some gravity-type Sorceries like Collapsing Stars, Rock Sling, Gravity Well, and Meteorite. Spells have always been appealing in Souls games, so it's no surprise that Elden Ring isn't missing out on this popular feature. Fans can use magic for offense, defense, and even support, opening various possibilities to adjust to their preferred combat style.
There are many ways players can obtain Sorceries or Incantations in Elden Ring. Whether it's via merchant, quests, or simply by looting, Tarnished will have to follow various tasks if they want to collect as many spells as possible. However, note that Sorceries require a Staff to cast, while Incantations need a Sacred Seal.
How to Get Rock Sling in Elden Ring
The Rock Sling in Elden Ring can be found a little north of the Street of Sages Ruins in Caelid. Players who haven't visited the area yet can use a quick teleport trap by going to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins.
Find a tunnel that goes underground, then walk straight forward until players find a chest. Open it to reveal a teleporter trap.
The chest will bring players to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. There are a lot of materials to be found in the area, but if Elden Ring players wish to simply escape the Sellia Crystal Tunnel, then they can follow these steps:
- Turn left from the spawn point (Tarnished can also go right and circle around the area)
- Walk until the cave turns blueish, then turn left
- Keep moving forward until the light turns normal, then turn right
Afterward, drop down and Tarnished will be greeted by a Site of Lost Grace. Sit by the bonfire before proceeding to another left.
Now, players should be outside the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. To travel with ease, it's highly recommended to summon Elden Ring's Torrent, the trustworthy stead. Ride southwest until players reach the Street of Sages Ruins.
In the area, there will be a small hole in the ground. Inside it is a set of stairs that lead to a small room. Follow the small hall and open the door.
Afterward, open the chest to be rewarded with the Rock Sling. If players travel further around the ruin, they will also come across the Elden Ring Meteorite Staff, another magic-based item to assist the Tarnished in the Lands Between.
There will be several Poison Flowers that inflict Scarlet Rot inside, guarding the Staff.
How to Use Rock Sling In Elden Ring
To use the Rock Sling in Elden Ring, players need to have a minimum of 18 Intelligence. Players must make sure they have enough Memory Slots to enhance their spell roster. Rock Sling is a gravity-type Sorcery, so getting the Meteorite Staff can further enhance this spell's potential.
