With truly impressive sales as well as glowing reviews from players and critics alike, it is safe to say that Elden Ring has lived up to pre-launch expectations. With tons of content for players to uncover through exploration, insanely challenging fights featuring some of gaming's most imposing bosses, and multiplayer allowing for cooperation or PVP, Elden Ring has at least one thing to offer most gamers.
Along with amazing gameplay, the game's predecessors are known for their unique art style and breathtaking environments. The same can be said for the immersive world of Elden Ring, which boasts some of the most scenic areas in FromSoftware's history; the starting area of Limgrave alone features grassy plains, lush forests, long beaches, and tall cliffs.
Naturally, for a game as artistically dynamic as this one, artists are drawn in and inspired by everything within; thus, creations like 3D printed Elden Ring living pots are popping up all over the internet. Recently, another work of art based on the game went viral; this time, the work featured General Radahn, depicting the fight between him and many of the game's NPCs.
Reddit user -tyranosaure- was the artist responsible for the piece, which they described as depicting the Radahn Festival. In the game, the festival is an ongoing event where warriors are called to try and defeat Elden Ring's Starscourge Radahn; this call to action leads to the player finding their way to Radahn along with many familiar faces they meet along the way. When the fight against Radahn begins, these familiar faces can be summoned to join the player in combat against the mounted giant.
User -tyranosaure- captures all of this perfectly in their art piece along with some minor but amazing details. First off, Horace, Radahn's beloved horse in Elden Ring, can be seen underneath Radahn, and he is clearly struggling with the weight of the massive demigod; the same goes for poor Horace in the fight, who Radahn smashes into the ground during certain attacks. On the sides of the art Malenia and Ranni can be seen; Malenia is Radahn's archenemy, while Ranni needs Radahn to be ended as part of her plan to usher in a new age. Funniest of all is Patches appearing in the art; he is the only NPC who is turning to run away from Radahn, referencing the fact that he will do so in the actual fight if summoned.
There are surely other references to be found in this incredible work by -tyranosaure-, but once again it must be said that the art is a masterpiece that perfectly captures the essence of both Radahn and his fight. Hopefully -tyranosaure- will continue to create art in the future, as this piece is truly unbelievable.
